Originally built in 1940 as a double camping lodge with a shared bath between them, The Loft is one of those, with a home addition added on in the 1960's. When I remodeled the home I created the modern version of a one room camping lodge with a bathroom and loft sleeping area. The home is full of character and some quarks but rest assured it is absolutely comfortable, cozy and efficiently set up for your stay.

The Red Door, a charming cottage, walking distance to the amenities of Spring Lake Village. Just off the bike trail and Spring Lake Beach, yet secluded enough with its 0.75 acre wooded yard (spectacular at night) and large fire pit. The 2nd floor is the master en suite (King Bed). A day bed in the front porch sleeps an extra 1-2 persons while the main floor bedroom (Queen Bed) is convenient for in & out guests. The kitchen is fully-equipped. The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).
