Josie and Neil welcome you to Hetherington Downs, their quiet 42 acre North Waikato rural property, set well away from the road & with magnificent views over Lake Waahi and beyond It is a 10m x 3m self contained Compac cabin with a 10m x 3m deck Wifi has only recently been connected to the cabin There is no TV It is most suitable for a couple, but also has a pull out sofa bed (& folding mattress) for your use if required The cabin was new in June 2017 and has now been set up for Airbnb guests

Skippers Hideout

A modern tidy studio with attached bathroom and kitchenette thats seperate from the main house. The bed is a queen size and theres a small table with two chairs as well. The kitchenette has basic bench top cooking facilities, a sink, toaster, kettle with a small fridge too. I run a fishing charter boat on a trailer out of the driveway too, so you might experience charter customers, fish and early or late noises during your stay. Only 14 minutes walk to town and 6 minutes walk to raglan wharf.

Rural retreat

Private studio with spectacular views. Hosts house on same property so readily available, self catering but meals available by arrangement. A place to relax and get away from it all, nearby Nikau Caves and Cafe, Port Waikato surf beach and Harkers Resrve for Bush Walks ,We now have aircon and wifi. We do have a couple of dogs who like to greet guests in the morning with a bark but it doesn’t go on for long and not every morning
