Hotel holiday rentals in Mayagüez

Serenity is beautiful and peaceful, just like the pictures. Be aware that there is a Villa Serenidad three doors down, which caused some confusion when we arrived in the middle of the night. Beds are big and comfortable, and bedding is minimal, you might request an extra blanket if you like to sleep with the AC up high. Hot tub and pool were lovely for morning coffee. Close to great breakfast spots and the beach. Next time we hope to stay longer to explore more of Rincon!

Great place to stay and relax. I had a beautiful and clear view to the beach. The pool and jacuzzi where perfect compare to some pools and jacuzzi from hotels so that's a plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. room are clean, beds are comfy, ac works reallh well. I'm already looking forward to my next stay in the near future

Confortable bed, clean place and easy check in and check out

I had amazing experience staying at this place. Host was very responsive. Ocean view at the place is amazing. The outside deck that directly connects to the ocean, open kitchen has everything.Two minutes walk and there is amazing restaurant Served delicious food, there was laundry available for added 6$ at the property. All and all I had a great stay there.

We had a wonderful time. Especially loved that we could use their kayaks to explore the mangroves. Cutlery and glasses are outside on the balcony in a cupboard (we could not find them before the next day as we arrived when it was dark). 😊

I had stayed at Serenity many years ago. Since then, they have expanded their facilities and built a new pool. This was perfect for days of intermittent rain. The space was private, quiet, and very peaceful. One of the days we left our key at a restaurant which had closed, and the staff was very responsive and quick to arrive and open up for us with the spare key. Will definitely stay again!

Great location! So incredibly close to a small quiet section of beach. It was great to have a pool at the Airbnb, and the extra perks like the outdoor tub, rooftop patio, and cooler/chairs/umbrella, and free laundry were perfect. Walkable to come restaurants and a short drive away from many many more. Would definitely stay here again!

I absolutely loved this place!!! I can't wait to get back and stay here again. The views, the sittings areas, the location....it's just perfect!!!

Daniel was terrific to rent from and his place is fantastic. It was cold and clean and possessed everything I needed. His place is a very short walk to the beach. So short I didn’t even use a cooler I’d refill and refresh and head right back to the beach. There are also lots of places to visit nearby including the bar/restaurant right across the street. I had a fantastic stay at Daniel’s place and will be back in the future.

A beautiful boutique hotel; very close to the beaches, the Aguadilla boardwalk, Downtown Aguada and the town and beaches of Rincón. Rooms are very private, neat and with beautiful décor. Gerardo and his wife are both great hosts, always pampering patrons, which makes staying at their hotel an even better experience. Food at the hotel's restaurant was good, same as the drinks. This was my second time staying at their place. so it's safe to say that I strongly recommend it.

Beautiful location with everything you need! The host was very responsive and quickly provided extra bedding for my grandson.

Loved staying at this local gem! In a prime location of rincon and lived that they also operate and own a restaurant. Would come here again and would recommend to everyone coming to PR.

We enjoyed our stay at English Rose. Bed was comfy, and the suite very spacious with a beautiful view and deck. As other reviewers mentioned in their reviews, there are two main things to note: you should be comfortable with getting up around 7:30am when the restaurant starts prepping. The suite's ceiling is the restaurants floor and even as a fairly heavy sleeper I don't think you could sleep through it. We read prior reviews so knew this would be the case. Second is that the road leading up leading there very steep. My partner is a very competent driver, so we knew we'd be fine, but you'll want to make sure you feel comfortable accelerating up a steep hill on a pretty narrow street. This is just part of mountain roads in the area. If you're nervous, it's actually a bit easier/ safer arriving at night because headlights would allow you to see cars coming the other way. Overall a beautiful spot.

Place was spacious and right by the beach. Hosts were easy to get a hold of and good at communicating. Bed was comfortable and outdoor shower was great. I would highly recommend and plan on staying here again.

We immediately felt right at home. The setting, atmosphere and overall sense of La Pina was easy breezy. Minus the island wide power outage- which didn’t stop our fun- we couldn’t have asked for a better!!! And Carla- you are absolutely amazing! Thank you for an amazing vacation

Overall, a very great stay. Stephen was very responsive and the room was quaint but had everything we needed. Hot water took a bit to get going but not that much of an issue, we just weren’t aware. The only thing I would say is that this very cute hotel is not in the best location so you will need a car. I was hoping for more of a beach, but it’s a very tiny beach that doesn’t really feel like one you can relax on all day. There’s a very cute pizzeria nearby which attracts the locals and seems intimidating at first but is actually very friendly. The coffee shops/restaurants that we did go to near the room were all really good so no complaints there! Knowing Rincon now, I would definitely come back to this spot but if you are a first timer looking for more of a spot that is walkable to everything then I’d look more north near Sandy Beach. Tbh, very glad I picked this spot because it gave us a taste of REAL Rincon!

Gerardo’s place was perfect! He was a very good host and very pleasant. The room was very clean and the location is great, just 10 min car ride to Rincon! Will be staying again soon!

Cool concept and helpful staff.

The place exceeded my expectations. Great location (walking distance to the beach), super clean and furnished. Outside areas are very nice, pool and rooftop were my favorites. Unfortunately our stays were during general outage of Holy Week. Despite this, Stephen and Carla were always attentive and provided updates on the situation. My only suggestion is that they should have battery fans, at least, for comfortable rest periods, like this situation where there’s no power electricity. Definitely we will be back and is highly recommended! As a local, despite this situation, we continue supporting our beautiful places in Puerto Rico. We want to thank the tourists for enjoying our island even in the worst situations!

The place is spectacular Gerardo is a super host, very attentive to our needs. The place is impeccable, the rooms as shown in the photos. The bed was super comfortable. The highlight of everything was the pool, I charm very clean and everything around it is just what you need. My stay was 1 day and we had plans to visit another village, but I definitely want to stay another day. It's definitely in the plans to come back. Thank you Gerardo I definitely give them 20 stars.
