Welcome to Forest Retreat! We are nestled in the hills of Western New York, 23 miles to Chautauqua Lake and 14 miles to Lily Dale. This unique home is near several wedding venues and the Earl Cardot Overland Trail, which is surrounded by 2,300 acres of state forest. We are located between 2 local ski resorts, and only 87 miles south of Niagara Falls State park. Relax by the fire, kayak, or fish in the 2 acre pond and just enjoy the scenery. We do require a signed waiver to utilize the pond.

Enjoy a peaceful stay in this cozy cabin on a quiet dead end street. With Snug Harbor Marina just a few minute walk down the street, Chautauqua Lake is right at your fingertips! Enjoy cooking outdoors with the BBQ grill, or make use of the full indoor kitchen. Create memories with the family while roasting s'mores around the gas fire pit and snuggling up with one of the board games provided. Snowmobilers can access the trail a couple miles away by road or by trailering to the Mayville Town Park.

Welcome and make yourselves at home. Located in the quaint little village of Mayville. Fully furnished in traditional decor. Chautauqua Lake is a mile away with a Public Boat launch & dock. Nearby things to do include hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, golf, museums, and all kinds of shopping. Cleanliness has always been one of our top priorities. Due to COVID-19, our cleaning service has initiated an enhanced cleaning routine and are taking extra care to disinfect our home.

Quaint North East Cottage Near the Water

North East Cottage is a quaint, two level cottage nestled between 16 mile creek and Lake Erie. It offers two bedrooms, one pull-out couch with a queen mattress, two full baths and two large decks overlooking Lake Erie. The kitchen is fully stocked and newly remodeled! The living room provides warmth and coziness with a gas fireplace for cool evenings on the lake. A short walk down the road is a private beach for relaxing and spending the day on Lake Erie.

Getaway from the busy world and enjoy the captivating shores of Lake Erie. With a few steps out the door, your toes will be on the sand. Our charming cottage will give you a revitalizing taste of lakeside living. (Just know lately the water levels have been very high so the beach area varies by day) Feel comfortable and relax knowing everything in the private cottage has been recently updated, new furniture, linens & carpet.

Our home is located in historic North East Pa. The house sits on a bluff overlooking beautiful Lake Erie with steps to access the beach. We have 2 bikes, a fire pit and plenty of seating on the oversized deck to enjoy your view of bald eagles flying along the shore. A split air system gives Air conditioning in the entire home makes your stay very comfortable. We are certain you will love your escape to the lake.
