Holiday rentals in Mechanicstown

It was a great, peaceful place to stay. The jacuzzi was bigger than I expected, which made it very comfortable. We had everything we needed at the house, and our nights were so relaxing and quiet.

I cannot say enough about this home. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views, this is the place for you. Hosts were extremely helpful & very quick to respond. We got lucky with beautiful weather and got to enjoy the lake but, stargazing in the jacuzzi at night was a perfect touch. We seriously loved every bit of this home and would love to return one day!! We had a very nice stay, the house is like the pictures and everything is clean and neat. Jolanta is a great host very friendly and helped us with everything.

The cottage was lovely and very comfortable. Simon left us detailed instructions and we had no issues in finding it and settling in. As the weather took a turn for the worse, we spent most of a day cozy in the house. Our dogs were also very comfortable and loved the large backyard. The house decor is very tastefully done, and not only looks great but looks like special effort has been taken to make everything comfortable and easy to use. Thank you for sharing your home!!

Lovely home. Deer came right up to the window. We had a much needed peaceful getaway. Our host was kind, quickly responsive, and flexible. We loved the hot tub and are looking forward to returning

We had a terrific time. It’s a lovely home- 20 min from Shawnee mountain and steps away from an indoor/outdoor pool facility (depends on weather), sledding hill and small skiing hill with ski lift. I would absolutely stay here again- and highly recommend for anyone with young kids looking to teach them to ski. Very very convenient. The hosts were available for questions and were friendly/flexible. Incredible customer service. We will be back!

Lockwood Lodge is a beautiful and peaceful place in a perfect location. Our families loved watching the snow come down from the big windows, the view is spectacular. Our kids loved the vintage video game consoles, the grownups loved the records and games/puzzles, and we all felt right at home in the lovely house. It was a perfect spot to hunker down in the snow storm. Jeremy was incredibly responsive and thoughtful and did much to make sure our stay was perfect. We hope to visit again in the summer to take advantage of the pool, which must be really special against the backdrop of that view.

Our stay at Johnna’s cottage was wonderful! Even before our trip the hosts were responsive and welcoming and very helpful in planning our stay in the Poconos! We had a great time and felt right at home. The location was awesome - peaceful and right in nature but still within quick driving distance to our planned activities and local stores. We had a relaxing weekend thanks to the warm vibe of Johnna’s home and awesome backyard area and would definitely stay again!! :)
