This spacious vacation home is located on the edge of a small charming Mecklenburg village and offers those seeking relaxation a lot of peace. The house was completely newly built with a lot of love for detail. With natural materials such as wood and clay plaster, we have paid attention to a healthy indoor climate. The wooden beam ceiling gives the house a spacious, airy room experience. Centrally, a large dining table can accommodate 10 people. All around are 3 bedrooms, a spacious kitchen and 2 bathrooms.

Charming house 40 km from the Baltic Sea

Next to an old rectory, we have individually expanded a small side room for us, for friends and guests. Some things are modern, others still have the charm of past times. Much seems to us to be coherent, some is still in the making. So nothing is standard. What we have not yet considered and is useful for guests can usually be quickly supplemented. The cottage is surrounded by a natural garden on the edge of the field, so it is located in a small, agriculturally active village.

The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and specially furnished with clay-plastered walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It borders the house that we live in as a family with children on an old three-sided farm. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburg Lake District, Peene, Tollense...

In this cozy accommodation for 2 - 4 people you will certainly feel very comfortable. The 55 sqm will be furnished with many individual details. We are still in the process of renovation, photos of the interior will follow. It is possible to have a completely secluded holiday or to seek encounters with the guests of the 3 glamping tents. The surroundings invite you to a wide variety of leisure activities such as walks, bike rides, swimming, paddling and much more. For the past five years, we’ve been carefully restoring it, breathing new life into the 1899 estate. On the upper floor of the manor house – a brick building typical for the region – a spacious, light-filled 114 sqm apartment is waiting for you. The old beams are visible once again. The interior is simple and doesn’t distract.

We rent out 2 appartments. You are looking at the larger unit. (The smaller unit you find here: https://www.airbnb.de/rooms/21896074) The stable from 1891 was renovated into a 3-unit-home in 2016. The surrounding gardens are a work in progress. The property is quite large and you can always find a quiet and peaceful spot in the sun. The night sky is wonderful for star gazing. Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.
