Monthly Rentals in Meeks Bay

Wendy was a great host, and the house is just as described. My brother left his dress shirt there by accident, and Wendy was so kind to send it to our home in Hawaii. Thank you having us stay in your beautiful home!

Tim’s cabin is cozy and comfortable for one or two. I would imagine it would be a little tight with more people, even if they’re kids. The fireplace heater worked well and provided a cozy atmosphere when it snowed for about 60 hours straight! The upstairs bedroom had a Dyson portable heater which worked well for that area at night. The queen bed was comfy. Tim was responsive when the power went out and checked with the utility company to give me an estimate of when it would be back on. It was helpful to have a dryer for my jacket, gloves and snow pants, as they got wet every time I went outside when it was snowing. I was able to check in a little early due to the winter storm warning that was in effect the evening I was supposed to arrive. He also let me check out a little later so it was easier to meet up with my cousins in Truckee. IDK why all the AirBnb places have a check out time of 10 AM. That’s early! If I were to visit the West Shore again,I’d stay again at his cabin.

Small but comfortable cabin in a great location. Very quiet neighborhood. The fully fenced large backyard and small mudroom are nice features. Had everything we needed for a very pleasant visit.
