Loft holiday rentals in Melbourne City

My partner and I spent ten days in Carolyn's apartment and really loved it. The other reviews say it all - the space is quite ingeniously set up, so that even though it's a relatively small apartment, it has distinct spaces for working, sleeping, chilling etc. It was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed down to an umbrella. Perhaps most touchingly, it's been decorated and set up with a real sense of personality - the best kind of AirBnB. Thank you for having us Carolyn!

Lovely apartment right in the heart of the action, just off Chapel Street in Melbourne's most vibrant neighbourhood. Very convenient for tram routes to the city centre and Richmond. Very safe and secure. Excellent hostess.

I stayed for three nights and loved the place. Walking distance to all essentials- public transport, eateries, shopping. Easy check in, felt safe and secure. Will be back!

Perfect location, close to MSAC where we had a son competing. Lots of restaurants and cafes close by, near to trams and the city and a couple of blocks from the supermarket. Well priced and clean. Kitchen was set up well. Beds were comfy and the linen was crisp and clean.

Fabulous place to stay for location and ease of facilities. Craig provided great treats for hot weather.

James' apartment was in a fantastic location proximate to Queen Victoria Market and walkable to city centre, or could easily hop any of the trams nearby. Cafes and restaurants galore. Could benefit from a folding clothes rack for a small wash, and the only spare quilt had a huge stain on it. Apart from that the apartment presented very well. Bedding=1 q/bed +1 d/bed, so it was a bit squeezed for 2 adults+2 teens, but do-able. The major let down was KeyNinja - we were left waiting out front on the street for 3/4s of an hour passed the agreed time, only to have a Chinese student run passed us, 'throw' us a set of keys as she kept moving while glancing at our ID, without so much as a word. She had messaged us (not her employer) 5 mins before the agreed meet up time saying she'd be half hour late, but was even much later than that, and the excuse was lame. Attitude was couldn't have cared less. Sadly these things make lasting impressions. Otherwise great apartment.

A perfectly located, spacious and beautifully designed apartment in Fitzroy, close to many excellent restaurants, cafes, shops and green urban spots. The apartment was perfectly clean and its kitchen perfectly equipped for home-cooking. Kate was very responsive, generous and helpful throughout our stay. I would love to stay there again. Highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful stay, Crystal has a gorgeous home and is an extremely friendly, responsive and respectful host. The place was incredibly homey and tidy, central to all main public transport lines with plenty of amazing cafes and restaurants close by. Highly recommend to anyone looking to have a lovely quiet stay in Fitzroy!
