Sam was very responsive and provided excellent instructions before our stay. The house fit the online description to perfection and the surrounding scenery will impress anyone fortunate enough to book Watson's. Between six of us, there was plenty of room and it was extremely affordable. We were here for a weekend of trout fishing and the location was perfect. An entry point to the Delatite River is just a short walk to the house where we saw fish and landed a good rainbow. We fished about a 4km stretch of the river over the weekend for about 6 trout and plenty of hook-ups that ended with fish spitting the hook before they could be landed. For wildlife enthusiasts, plenty of kangaroos, deer and birdlife will keep you entertained. Will definitely consider booking again for another fishing weekend.

Absolutely magnificent place. I could not quite believe that view every morning. And the birds! I sat on the porch with my binoculars and managed to catch sight of the lesser seen Eastern rosellas, spinebills, and a confident little shrike! Peta and Dieter were so friendly and accommodating and helped us settle in straight away. The place was so cosy and warm, I could have stayed another week if not just to wake up with the birds every morning. We were also greeted by a couple of gorgeous dogs, and the chickens came to say hello every day! Great value for money. We really hope to be back, it is such a special place with a wonderful energy. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was extremely clean, peaceful, and exactly as described. If you're looking for relaxation and hiking, this is the perfect spot. Geoff was very friendly and explained the surroundings and local attractions in detail. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place. Also, I should mention the amazing wildlife around — we saw deer, wombats, and kangaroos! Enjoy your stay! :)

Absolutely loved the house. Plenty of space and furnished well. The balcony out the back was great for watching the sunsets while sipping on a champagne. Location and views just beautiful. Great for bush walks. Abundance of wildlife every day. Deer and kangaroos so close on the fence line and beautiful colored parrots landing on the ledge of the balcony. Kids loved it as did the adults. Loved the fireplace (abundance of wood supplied) even though the weather was warmer than expected. The family really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again one day. It was very sad to leave today.
