Holiday rentals with a patio in Messalonskee Lake

Krista's place was perfect for us. It is beyond well appointed. Hooks where you want them, outlets where you need them, bedside tables on both sides of the bed, super comfy extra blankets and great lighting. The apartment is very clean and very private. The kitchen has all you would want, including multiple ways to make coffee! It is a small space, but not crowded and the layout has a nice flow. Krista was a great and helpful communicator. We hope we can stay there again!

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall ambiance of the apartment. This is an old building with uneven floors but I loved the feel of the place. Having an updated bathroom was great, especially the heated tile floors! The views of the river were great. I felt right at home.

We absolutely loved staying at the Come Spring apartment! The place was clean, stocked with amenities and necessities, and optimally located. Ruthie was attentive and caring, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our stay!

This apartment was exactly what we were looking for—cozy, quiet, and tucked away in a beautiful wooded setting. It had such a warm, cabin-like vibe that made us feel right at home. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully set up. The location was also ideal—close to everything we needed, from restaurants to shops and local attractions, but still felt peaceful and private. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing escape!

I had a great little stay on Elm! This was lovely. The hosts were super communicative and helpful and clear. I very much enjoyed my stay!

Comfortable accommodations in a heavenly setting. Spacious. Walkable neighborhood. We stayed in cooler weather and used the gas fireplace for heat. No temperature control on this unit but it can heat the whole guest house.

Super cool space, artistically decorated, and comfortable for the two of us and our senior dog. The kitchen has a great layout for a small space, and was really fun to cook in. We hope to return soon!

We walked in and the Christmas tree lights were on and Christmas music was playing. It was lovely. It's a beautiful home and very cozy. Having a bedroom and full bath downstairs makes a difference for many of us (young and older) who may have trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor. This location is nice and quiet yet close to all the essentials. I spoke with Dottie before our stay and she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Thank you again Dottie! We felt right at home in this beautiful setting It was peaceful to be in a quiet, secluded home, yet we had only a short drive to stores, restaurants, and various attractions. The host was attentive in making us feel welcome and comfortable. The home was well-maintained and nicely decorated. You will love this home!

This was our 2nd stay at Emma’s. Again, a lovely stay. Super clean. A great location to visit our Bates student. Looking forward to our stay in a few weeks for graduation.

Brian’s virtual hospitality was warm and welcoming. I didn’t figure out that the garage is for snowmobiles (assumption) until the last day. We felt at home at once. Our small dog wanted to chase every squirrel and the cows that lead the pig down the street. We were there with another couple for a virtual conference with several sessions over Saturday and Sunday. The bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms clean, kitchen small but well equipped meeting all our needs, and TV room perfect for the conference. Walking the dog in the back up the hill was beautiful even in the rain. We talked about booking for the October conference already. Thanks, Brian.

We chose Jeff's house in Hallowell for our first trip to Maine because it is conveniently located near the Maine Cabin Masters' Kennebec Cabin Company store and Woodshed Restaurant, the town of Hallowell is quaint, and it's easy to get to Waterville, Cape Elizabeth, Portland, and Camden. We visited all of these places and were fortunate to have beautiful weather for late April. While we didn't use the hot tub and only tried the sauna once, we can definitely recommend this house for skiers. I can only imagine how good the sauna and the electric blankets on the comfortable beds would feel after a cold day on the slopes! Jeff is very friendly and provided recommendations. All around great visit and would stay again on our next trip to Maine.

Second stay at the farm house. Two weeks this time. We just love it here. Plenty of space yet cozy, everything you need, lovely outdoors space. We enjooed watching the chickens, dicks and horse next door. I wish we could stay for months. Thank you, Amy and family!

Leslie’s home is exactly that, cozy, spacious, beautiful, peaceful, but above all it feels like a real home. Leslie was welcoming and gracious, she went above and beyond, I would certainly consider her a friend after staying there. I highly recommend this spot!

This house was incredible! Extremely spacious, clean, and private. Located on the back side of a farm we had our own space which was very much appreciated by our dogs who could run around the fields. Brad was so welcoming and responsive! He was flexible and friendly. We stayed to visit a family member in the hospital but will book again in the future for a vacation because the location was that beautiful.
