The Wayzata Bay Suite is the largest suite at Hotel Excelsior. The Suite offers an enclosed bedroom with king sized bed with luxury bedding. Enjoy your full kitchen with eat-in bar, induction cooktops, full oven, full refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and Keurig coffee. The bathroom features in-floor heat, instant hot water, and a curbless shower and is ADA compliant. Both the living area and bedroom feature 55-inch 4K TVs, cable service, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. For your health and safety all rooms: have private heating and cooling systems (no intra-unit air exchange); are sanitized and disinfected to CDC cleaning guidelines; have state-of-the-art digital door code locking systems. Additionally, the common area is equipped with security cameras.

Room 8 at Crosby Lofts is an east-side interior room with skylight & one window facing the brick-lined, sky-lighted atrium. No outside views. This room features 1 queen bed and 1 overhead adult twin XL loft bed and sleeps up to 3 adults. Amenities feature heat, AC, satellite TV, free WiFi, linens, private bathroom, hair dryer, bathroom essentials, coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, free parking and shared rooftop deck access. We also have free bike storage space with lockers in the Red Shed.

Whalan Room @ Root River Inn Resort

This room, named after the smallest town on the Root River Trail, is our smallest room. Perfect if you just plan to sleep here and be out enjoying the day. There is a bench in the room. This room has a window overlooking main street. You can see the bike trail and the bridge from your room. Recline in your queen bed and watch the Roku TV where you can watch many free channels or log into your own services. This room has the sink in the room and toilet and shower in the bathroom.

Building 108 - Studio Apartment in Great Location.

Our studio apartment is quaint and cozy. It's located right off main street with walking distance to the local grocery store, bars, restaurants (right across the street), gas station and city park. Blocks from the city sliding hill and skating rink. Bike to Mesabi Trail. We have off street parking, internet and cable TV. Park and walk right in. No steps. We are located only minutes from Giants Ridge Golf and Ski Resort. Enjoy our towns beach, biking, ATV and snowmobile trails.

Amazing Lake Superior views can be taken in from the comfort of the king size bed in this upper level unit in our main building. Along with the king size bed, this unit is outfitted with a full kitchen, full size pull out couch, full bath, and dining area. We can't forget about the wood burning fireplace either, perfect for cool nights on the lake.

Little Historic Inn King Bed with Private Bath

Historic home 1898 built for the Gregg Family. Jesse Gregg was a prominent iron merchant and had this big beautiful brick home built for his family by the notable architect Clarence Johnston. "The Fitz" room is the newest unit add to our little inn, with private en-suite bathroom, a king bed and nice views of the neighborhood.
