The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

At the Co cottage / Relaxation area

At the Co gîte, you will find a real private relaxation area with heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna accessible year-round. The accommodation is located in the countryside amidst wheat and sunflower fields, and will offer you calm and serenity. You will find all amenities within 5 minutes by car (grocery store, bakery, butcher shop, post office, supermarket) and many activities nearby (hiking, walking and mountain biking, wake boarding, museum/tourist site visits)

Quiet cottage with garden by the Bay

Our townhouse overlooking the Grand Bassin de Castelnaudary is the perfect place to relax. This space has been designed to accommodate up to 6 people. There are two separate bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two single beds. The sofa in the living room is convertible which, once opened, is a real double bed. A private outdoor area at the rear of the house is accessible to enjoy the calm of this historic district of Castelnaudary.

Take the time to recharge your batteries, catch a glimpse of the roe deer emerging from the forest, enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, and watch the squirrel jump. Come and discover Lac de Saint-Ferréol and its brilliant creator. Stroll through one of France's most beautiful markets on Saturday mornings. Visit the Don Robert museum. Be amazed by the Montagne Noire, rich in little-known Cathar history. Treat yourself to a break.

In a natural environment on a wooded plot of 4600 m2. Enjoy a relaxing stopover (bedding and towels provided). Near the Canal du Midi. Canal du Midi bike path 100 m away. Independent studio on the ground floor of our main home. Self check-in possible. Independent entrance. Parking in front of the apartment on our fenced property. Possibility to store bikes. Food, bakery and laundromat open 7 days a week 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. at 800 m.

The Manor Cottage

Stay in the Cottage du Manoir near Lac de la Ganguise (Entire and air-conditioned accommodation). Enjoy the tranquility the environment has to offer 🍃 The accommodation is completely separate from our residence. You will find everything you need for your stay (kitchen, bathroom, outdoor areas...). A relaxing weekend or a week of exploring the area? You've found a perfect and comfortable pied-à-terre for any occasion!

Nous vous accueillons dans une maison de maître du 17ème siècle située face à la collégiale Saint-Michel de Castelnaudary. Notre chambre d'hôtes est spacieuse, climatisée et comprend une salle de douche privative avec toilette et une cuisine équipée qui vous est réservée. Nous proposons un garage fermé pour vos vélos. Le stationnement est gratuit dans la rue et la gare est à 7 minutes à pied.

We have 3 gites at the property. All have a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob and combination/microwave oven, a bathroom and washing machine, TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are provided. The garden and pool are shared between the gites. Gite No.7 is a two-storey cottage attached to the main house with private entrance, terrace and gas BBQ plancha. Accommodates 2 people in 1 kingsize bed.
