Elegant & inviting, this room defined by a dramatic archway that separates 2 distinct living spaces: a high-top near the wet bar + sitting area at the foot of the bed. The corner windows offer one of the best perspectives in KC. All 8 guest rooms have private bedrooms & bathrooms. Heads up: our lobby bar is open most Wed–Sat, with quiet hours starting at 1 AM. Not ideal for light sleepers! There’s no TV, and our linens lean crisp over cushy, thanks to the commercial sanitizing service we use.

You will enjoy this cozy get away. The retro kitchen and new upscale bath blends into down home comfort. Records playing and Roku streaming offer a bit of the old and new in a quaint studio apartment. Awesome sunrises and starry nights, crackling fire on the patio, in two acres of woods, creates a step back into nature. Just one block off US Hwy 50, by the Rock Island Trail State Park, it is the perfect B & B. For guests staying Saturday and Sunday, breakfast is included at our Gerald Cafe.

A Lovely room in a historical St. Louis home! The Blue Spruce Room is on the 2nd floor, and has a recently renovated and beautiful bathroom complete with a walk-in rain shower right next to it. The room has a desk, chair, lamp, table, Amazon Fire TV with basically every major streaming App, newly installed hardwood floors, and a Queen sized-bed. The room has two large windows for plenty of natural light with heavy blinds for sleeping in! Full use of the kitchen upstairs is available!

The Woodsman Suite

A third floor suite, facing the river with the train tracks only a couple blocks away. It took 2 months to do the ceiling. Carefully polished and placed the old lath in a specific design, the ceiling is a work of art. Eighty percent of the material used in this room is from re purposed lumber, either from this building or from a childhood barn built in the late 1800's. It will take you a while to notice every detail down to the toilet paper holder which is from an old barn post.
