Monthly Rentals in Monarch Pass

We had a great time in this cabin! We celebrated our engagement here and would come back again! We loved making dinner in the kitchen and eating it out by the river. We even had a fire the first night in the wood fire stove which made it very cozy.

Great stay at this updated cabin near Monarch. The unit was as advertised/pictured and clean. It's in the "town" of Garfield, which is essentially a small neighborhood of homes about 5 min drive from the ski resort. As others have mentioned, there are no shops/services in Garfield, so you'll want to bring your supplies or make the 20 min drive down to Salida. Knowing that, we loved the location and ease to the slopes, and we didn't mind the short drive into town or over to Mount Princeton Hot springs. The hot tub works well and is a nice touch on a cold day/evening. There is only one bathroom and the shower is pretty tight, which worked fine for us, but something to be mindful of depending on your guests. The host was very communicative and it's nice to have the electronic keypad so that you don't have to worry about keeping track of keys.

The property is very quiet and private but also easy access by short walk to downtown to eat and shop. Easy to access the highway to travel to the ski areas. The bedrooms are upstairs and allows for a group to be downstairs and enjoying the kitchen, dining room and living room while others are sleeping. One thing i noticed is the house has many little extras from soap, pillows, and blankets to name a few which made the stay even better. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again on my next trip.

This cabin is wonderful!!! It was cozy and clean. Everything you need is provided. I look forward to renting here again if we are in the area.
