Our stunning 2-bedroom, ground floor apartment is located right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. The sunny terrace offers unique views of both the famous Staubbach Waterfall and the valley itself. In summer enjoy the countless hiking trails; in winter we are perfectly placed in-between the ski areas of Murren-Schilthorn AND Wengen-Grindelwald. We've lived here since the apartment was built in 2012 and we love it; but now we are travelling, so we hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.

Closest Studio Nest to the Staubbach waterfall

The nest located within Chalet Staubbach is adjacent to the famous Staubbach waterfall. The stream from the waterfall runs through the properties garden. The nest is a perfect base for skiing/sledging/hiking in the winter and for hiking, mountain biking and generally exploring the area in the summer. The nest is a leisurely 40 minute walk from the amazing Trummelbach falls. Also being 50m from Camping Jungfrau means there is a shop, bar and restaurant next door offering takeaway or eat in.

Our apartment is named Truemmelbach. It is located in the Lauterbrunnen valley, just next to the highest waterfalls of the Alps. Lauterbrunnen is part of the jungfrau region. It is surrounded by the famous mountains called Jungfrau, Eiger and Schilthorn. You will stay in the ground floor of a 3 floor Swiss Chalet. From the huge private terrace, facing the south, you can enjoy the most spectacular view to the Swiss mountains and you will hear nothing but cowbells, sheeps & singing birds.

Charming farmhouse with mountain views

This charming accommodation in a former farmhouse awaits guests who are looking for a unique holiday experience. A steep footpath leads from the village to the house in around 8 minutes. Access by car is not possible in winter. If it snows, you can take a sleigh or skis from the village directly to the house. New 3.5-room apartment in a beautiful, quiet location in Grindelwald with 2 double bedrooms and spacious bathroom with bath and shower. My property, which was completely refurbished in summer 2016, is located on the south-facing "sunny side" of Grindelwald in a very quiet location and is well suited for couples and solo travelers. The village center of Grindelwald can be reached on foot in about 12 minutes.
