Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Monroe County

We had a great stay at Amy’s place while in town for my son’s sporting event. The house is large, very clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need—it made traveling with kids so much easier. Amy was a fantastic host—she sent over restaurant recommendations before we arrived and even mailed back a few clothes we accidentally left in the dryer (so appreciated!). The location was super convenient—close to stores (Target, Dicks Sporting Goods, Wegmans), restaurants, Lake Ontario (2 miles away), and only about 20 minutes to Rochester. We visited in early April, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or outdoor space, but it all looked lovely.

Excellent! We celebrated Easter there and the home was perfect! The downstairs bedroom and bathroom right next door was perfect for my 82 year old mom! When I tell you our family felt at home is an understatement. The home was so welcoming and comfortable! So fresh and clean! Fully stocked kitchen, I bought so many of my own items to use just in case but I didn't need to. They literally had everything! Beds were so comfortable and plenty of towels! Nice fenced in backyard for our little Cockapoo. The two livingrooms perfect spacing for young and older individuals to enjoy themselves. Excellent communication before, during, and after our stay! We will definitely look to stay there in the future, my son has at least 2 more years left at RIT. Thank you for making our Easter weekend Perfect!

Perfect place to stay with everything you need. I especially loved the beautiful shower and extra absorbent towels!

Maria made her home comfortable for my in laws and parents, who were visiting for the holidays. The house, which had a lot of space, was decorated (even a Christmas tree!) to make it feel so cozy. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Maria was proactive in letting us know when to expect the snow plow, on the few days we got some snow. Thank you Maria!

Our whole family had a wonderful time on the lake. The house is so spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. The water is so nice to swim in with a fabulous sandy bottom all the way out. Lou went well out of his way to make our stay special. Just can’t say enough good!

We loved staying here! Everything was exactly as described/pictured, and it was really a beautiful space. It's clear that a lot of thought was put into making it both functional and beautiful, and our stay was very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. In general, it was high quality, above and beyond expectations! Thank you! If you're in the area and have time, Highland Park is a beautiful place to visit, especially in the spring. It's very close by and is filled with flowering trees, mostly lilacs and magnolias, and also has a lot of tulips and pansies with paved walking paths winding through them. It's just gorgeous!

I'm familiar with Rochester and knew exactly where this place was...a 5-minute walk for my morning cappuccino and croissant and a convenient drive past Rochester's only Frank Lloyd Wright house to friends and family,. The apartment is lovely and tranquil - a new, modern kitchen, small but nice bath, lovely dining room and comfortable livingroom/bedroom with good lighting and a very comfortable reading chair, an amenity that is seldom provided. The furnishings are lovely and the closet has lots and lots of hangers. A 10-minute walk to Park Ave. restaurants and shops; a short drive to Wegmans. Culver Road traffic noise can be irritating, but it quiets at night; expressway noise is negligible. James was very responsive when I had questions. I will return.

This was my sister and my second time staying at Roger's AirBNB. We purposely returned for the wonderful hosting, convenience, access to great parks, museums, and family nearby. This time we stayed on the first floor which was beautiful and homey. The surrounding neighbors were friendly and I loved walking my dogs and chatting with them everyday. Roger is a fantastic host - always responsive, a gentleman, and professional. He was flexible with our wish to return this year for which we are grateful. We will definitely consider returning again.

I had such a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their home is absolutely beautiful—warm, cozy, and clean. Every detail was clearly thought through with care and intention, creating a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. I truly appreciated their hospitality and would absolutely stay here again. This house is beating walked in and was just as photos, was just like home had everything from spices. coffee linen. house was very clean Kristin made sure everything was coved to our arrival to mapping out instructions for resturants ,that was walking distance if and when your in Rochester ny and looking for a great place to relax ,hear the comfortability of birds chirping this house is where to stay , quiet neighborhood pictures are exactly as discribe and more the price is good I would stay there if back in rochester ny and available, wish I could have stayed longer ,Kristin was very attentive to everything, checking in on us to see how we were ,to wishing my sister well on her recovery of surgery again house is gorgeous Thank you Kristin for allowing us to share your home ,

We booked Tim’s place the morning of our check in because we had some changes to our moving plans. The house was as described and very comfortable. We had everything we needed, and the ability to have garage parking was a huge perk. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the whole space was nicely renovated. The neighborhood was quiet, which we also appreciated. We initially checked out before our stay was up, but due to more issues with our move, Tim was very accommodating and let us stay as we initially planned. We recommend staying at Tim’s house if you are in the Rochester area, you won’t be disappointed!
