We loved our stay at Gerard’s place. It was very peaceful and quiet. Gerard was a total superstar when we got lost and had a puncture at the same time. He came to rescue us in the village and then insisted on taking me to get the tyre repaired the next day on a French public holiday. He then helped to provide tools to change the wheel on the car. This was so helpful and way above expectations. I am sorry we took so much of Gerard’s time but he was so nice to us and we were able to have a great time at the old stable despite our car problems. I would recommend using the directions Gerard provides on the messages rather than the default directions on the Airbnb app (which was our mistake). We had a wonderful meal at the Auberge du Cerf restaurant about 5-10 minutes drive away.

We had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful farmhouse. The whole family was won over by the place, the calm and the beauty of the house. Well designed for a stop in Orleans. Good location for visiting the city on foot. Quiet place. The accommodation is clean as well as linens. The beds (bed and convertible) are perfect. However, a little effort on the finishes, especially in the bathroom, would be desirable. We had a nice and short stay that we will renew if needed in the area. We enjoyed the great coffee available. Booked as part of an EVJF weekend, we had a great time. The setting is relaxing and the hosts are very warm, accommodating and responsive. We had the opportunity to make our evening in the reception room. Room that we were able to organize as we wanted.

We spent several days in Laurence's very nice, cozy and quiet apartment. Check-in was easy and hassle-free thanks to the exact description. We arrived in the evening and it was typically still quite cool for March. That's why we were particularly grateful that our hostess had already preheated the apartment. The decor and kitchen are very tasteful and nothing was lacking. The bed is very comfortable and we slept well on it. The view of the Seine through the floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony is fantastic and the surroundings offer many possibilities for beautiful excursions. We really want to come back again, then for longer. We highly recommend this place to other guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rogers lovely cottage. The house has been very tastefully renovated and indeed the photos on the website do not do it justice! We felt very much at home in this very clean and well-equipped house with all the home comforts. Roger made sure our stay was no hassle with clear and helpful instructions. I had a great quiet weekend, green in this very nice little cottage. When you open the window, you have this beautiful, lively, singing painting. Nature lovers will be delighted. I was able to connect with Anne who welcomed me warmly. Everything is great.

Lovely place - very comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful gardens and places to relax. Yves and Christine are always available to help if needed but also respect guest privacy. Great bike rides in the area and Clamecy is a sweet town; also recommend Dijon and Auxerre for visiting.
