Family-friendly holiday rentals in Monte Gordo

Our family (my husband, two daughters, and I) had the most wonderful time at this beautiful countryside Airbnb! The property is set in a peaceful, scenic location, surrounded by nature and endless charm. We enjoyed sitting in the garden just listening to nature. One of the highlights for us was being able to pick fresh oranges right from the trees — making our own juice each morning was such a special experience that our girls will never forget. We loved walking/running the paths nearby. Our host was available if we needed anything and gave us good recommendations for restaurants and activites. This was one of the most relaxing and memorable family trips we’ve had.

That was very nice week spent in this house: we made a barbeque evening, we made several trips from there to Mertola, Alcoutim, Faro, Olhao, Fuzeta, Tavira, Santa Luzia. We spend some evenings at the pool. The area is perfect for family vacations: there are some sports opportunities, animals, fruit trees. A huge thanks to Arlete and her family: we just arrived, and some hours later there is happened electricity grid blackout in the whole country Portugal and Spain; Arlet and her mother have cooked and brought us some food, candles, matches - even this evening is a nice remembrance 😚😇

We have not visited Tavira before. It is a beautiful town and in an area very different from the Western Algarve. Stephane's flat is really exceptional. It is beautifully furnished with some lovely works of art. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We were two couples and found it very spacious. Nothing more to add it is to be highly recommended for a lovely holiday. Stephane was great at communicating with us.

We loved our stay at Villa Endless Summer. This apartment is spacious, modern, beautiful and well equipped. Check in was great, we could access the apartment early. We would absolutely stay here again if we were to visit the Algarve again.

a wonderful stay in an amazing indoor heated pool complex, jacuzzi, sauna and 10 mins walk to cabañas bar and shop. the apartment is spacious and quiet. we had an unforgettable stay. we highly recommend it. BOA VIDA PORTUGAL ❤️🇵🇹

We absolutely loved staying in Leonel's lovely apartment. There is a wonderful view overlooking the river and Tavira. We were a group of 6 and had plenty of room. Kitchen was well equipped. The location of this apartment makes it special as you can walk anywhere in old Tavira. There is free parking just a 4-5 minute walk away. We highly recommend staying here!

Thank you Norbert for restoring our faith in Airbnb! The place was exactly as described, local to everything and nice little touches like beer and juice in the fridge were appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans as well as a range of condiments. Beds were comfortable and great choice on TV.

They have been like a family, they welcomed us at home, we wanted a quiet and peaceful place, everything clean and with everything you need to spend a few relaxing days. Thank you for all the attention and help on the day of the Blackout, for the dozens of Eggs so rich and for being a great family ,Xenia to her Mother and her Father,thank you for everything, for being as humble as exceptional,we will return without hesitation and we will always recommend it to all those who want to be as a family. The house to disengage, in simplicity, refreshing. It is very well equipped with dishes, linens, we have the impression of arriving at friends who have left everything available. The big plus is this beautiful beach 2 steps away . It just went too fast

What an amazing villa. We were blown away. There were 10 adults and two young children in our group and the space was perfect. Loads of room for everyone and ideal communal spaces for meals, relaxing and playing games. Marie Diane and Tim were responsive, helpful and patient. We are already planning to come back!

Loved our stay at Denise’s place, very peaceful area and enjoyed eating our meals looking out at the orchards. Also loved her dogs which were very friendly!

Everything was perfect and exactly as described. We really enjoyed our time at Helenas place und would definitely recommend it, if you're looking for a quiet place, but still not far from the tourist spots.

The property is in the immediate vicinity of the water and there are many good restaurants in the area. Ample parking space is available in front of the house. The apartment itself is really fantastic. We have stayed in a lot of AirBnBs, but Paulo's apartment is one of our absolute highlights. Perfectly equipped, super clean, very tastefully and lovingly furnished, comfortable beds and a wonderful terrace where you can sit safely and comfortably in the evening. From our side we give not five, but ten stars!

Thank you! Margret‘s place is just as advertised. She was responsive and available before check-in and during my stay. I enjoyed both of the outdoor spaces and the smell of the flowers. Margret‘s generous offer to lend me her bike allowed me to explore more of the area. It was also an easy walk to restaurants, bakeries and the train station. I can highly recommend her place for a visit to Tavira.

We had a very nice time! The location, the pool and the house itself are great. There is plenty of space and communication with João was great.

A wonderful villa, located in a quiet and peaceful area. Fernando was helpful and responsive to all our needs. An ideal place to stay nearby to the marina in Vilamoura.

Just had a 3 night stay in this property. Close to the marina and all local bars / restaurant. Maria was very helpful and flexible with check in and check out. Responds to e mails etc very quickly. Quite a quiet street with no disturbances, there is a large garden and communal pool to use. Property itself is a little dated but had plenty of amenities and was clean on arrival.

Nice spacious house on three floors with loads of room and a great pool for kids, you will need a car as the nearest supermarkets are a drive away, but is convenient to the aqua park and equidistant to Villamoura and Quarteria

We absolutely loved Sergio’s villa, it had everything we needed, with magnificent views across the valley. It was sooo peasant and pleasant. The kids loved the heated pool and the garden. We will be back!!!!

The apartment is very nice and comfortably equipped (everything you need). The complex is in a beautiful area and is pleasantly quiet. We had a rental car but you can easily walk to the port or beach. We had a good time and saw a lot. João is a great host, always helpful. Thank you.

Wonderful and enjoyable stay. Cosy house with all the amenities you need and super clean. Location-wise, also great as it is close to the beach (10 min walk; 3 min by car) but also the tennis academy, golf course, etc. Nice pool, heated upon arrival. Lynn was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic and very responsive to our questions. Also during the large power outage she made sure we were ok and had everything we needed.

The villa is great and would recommend staying there. Lovely swimming pool, quiet location with short walk to supermarket and restaurants. The marina and beach is also only a 25 minute walk and a great location for a family holiday. Martin was also very responsive and we all really enjoyed our stay.
