Our House is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, right in front of the Salt flats around Tavira and Cabanas where the Algarve cycle path from the very east of the Algarve runs all along the coastline towards the western end. Enjoy the stunning sea views from the upper terrace, the covered patio in the little garden or take a walk into nature to watch various birds. The local beach is a 25-30 min walk away as well as the center of Tavira with its many restaurants, bars/cafés and boutiques.

Recently renovated, it is an old one-story house equipped with all the current modernities on a four-thousand-square-meter property. Inspired by the Algarve's rural culture, the decor was made with local Portuguese materials, some of which belonged to the original house. Lamps made by local artisans and restored furniture bring soul to a contemporary home.

Our two bedroom apartment (ready for 4 people) is 200m away from the beach and it was fully renewed in 2023! Now it is open for short and mid-term rental. The apartment has 100% ceramic floor, two bathrooms, all amenities, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room, TV, wifi and an open patio (with barbecue). We’re on the ground floor, with restaurants and two bars nearby (one right next), so please expect noise (music and people talking) until closure (2Am).

The nearby bird reserve is a mecca of all ornithologists. The complex is adjacent to the charming town of Ayamonte.
