The Villa and the out buildings of "Mereta Castle” date back to 1400. They are surrounded by beautiful greenery, within a hectare of private olive grove, and are located on a beautiful hill overlooking a natural amphitheatre with views down to the sea. It is a place for exclusive holidays where the idyllic feel of the countryside, and the charm “Dolce Vita” are combined with the elegance of the "Master House" and the majesty of the adjacent "Tower". 10 sleeps are available in 5 bedrooms.

We are located 1 hour from Milan, at the beginning of the Piacenza hills and very close to the famous medieval village of Castell'Arquato, along the route of the Via Francigena. In an oasis of peace and tranquility, surrounded by unspoiled nature, we rent a small rustic mountain villa that is part of an ancient fief of the castle of Belforte (in Borgo Val di Taro), completely renovated while maintaining an ancient state of preservation. It enjoys a beautiful panoramic view of the Taro valley up to the Ligurian mountains. It is surrounded by chestnut woods and centuries-old oaks, just a 10-minute drive from Borgo Val di Taro, the main village.

Parquet and stone flooring, very well-kept furniture with contrasting elements between vintage and modern works by the owner artists.

To get to the property you need to drive through about 600 meters dirt road (unpaved). For safety reasons, children less than 12 years old are not admitted.
