A unique and beautiful tiny house between a village and the wild, it's a perfect place for a peaceful retreat, a stop on a hike or a destination for an adventure. The 2ha property includes forest, meadows and water streams. It's surrounded by lush nature, yet is a walk away from village. On the property there is a compost toilet and sun-heated shower, fireplace and a sauna. Upon request, we offer nutritious meals and snacks (all good is plant based and organic) for an additional donation.

Unique place composed of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 large dining room, 1 kitchen with bar, 1 fireplace, 1 terrace with private parking, on a quiet street and close to shops. In addition to its refined decoration, everything has been thought out to make this place a peaceful and welcoming place. Option to rent the apartment above with 4 beds.

Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood-burning stove for the winter. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

Our small house, "Les sinsolles", is located in the heart of the village of Vernajoul, 3 km from Foix. In local patois, a "sinsolle" is one of those little lizards that spend their time climbing the walls of old stone houses. By analogy, it is also the one for whom nap and chaise longue rhyme with beautiful and peaceful existence... You'll love the indoor comfort, the kitchen layout, the shaded courtyard that allows you to have lunch outside... and the easy access!

On the border between Aude and Ariège, Carcassonne and Mirepoix, in a natural environment, you can enjoy a 1.5 h, in peace and quiet. Here are plenty of walks to be had around the gîte, and if you enjoy hiking or cycling, this is the ideal place, with its footpaths and the "voie verte" ! Mirepoix, Carcassonne, Fanjeaux, Chalabre, Camon, the Cathar castles are close. To diversify your activities, the sea is just 1h20 away and ski resorts are only 1h away.

In a small green setting, close to amenities, you will find a private house with a warm and cocooning atmosphere, carefully decorated. You will find all the essentials for a pleasant stay. (See amenities). The accommodation consists of two bedrooms with double bed, a living room with fitted kitchen and a parking space. Outside you will enjoy your two small terraces and landscaped areas, where it is good to live and relax.

There are many places to visit and activities to enjoy in the area around Tarascon.
