Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Montgomery

We were so happy to get a white Christmas and a nice place to enjoy it. As a couple, it was nice to have someone that didn't triple their rates like so many people are doing, as I assume they think multiple people are always going in on rentals. We will definitely be back!

Karen was incredibly nice and very clear on check-in and check-out instructions. plow driver was there first thing every morning cleaning the driveway and the house is very cozy. We hope to come back at a warmer time and enjoy everything the place has to offer! Thank you to Karen for sharing her home and being a great guest!

Our group loved our stay at this home. It was extremely homey and cozy for our ski weekend with lots of sleeping space and a good kitchen. The hosts left very clear guidelines and recommendations for the area. We appreciated that guests are able to use the fire place and loved that the soaps/laundry detergent are more eco friendly and sensitive skin friendly!! Our only recommendation is to bring extra paper towels and toilet paper as they do not provide enough for the large amount of people that the home can host. Our group would love to come back!

This place is worth your stay, it was beautiful smelt fresh as the cleaner did amazing, I felt like I was at home the nice quite outdoors for my family to relax and see the view of lake Eden! Thank you for letting my family enjoy our stay, we will be back!

Plenty of room for our family of five. There was absolutely nothing we wanted that wasn't available in the house. The place was clean and comfortable. Short drive to Stowe base for skiing with restaurants along the way and not far from the town either, but neither is walkable. Stacy was super responsive and friendly. We had a great stay.

This is our second stay here. The house is roomy and clean. We even had a visit from the neighborhood bear!!! Location is perfect and private. I highly recommend.

The farmhouse style home was cozy, very clean and in a picturesque, quiet location. Nick and Sara were easy to get in touch if we had any questions. Would highly recommend this property!

My wife and I wanted to find a place to stay for a few nights to ski. Ted’s place was perfect. He was incredibly responsive when we had questions. Great stay overall.

Great place to stay for skiing Sugarbush or Mad River Glen, convenient to restaurants and shops. Very quiet setting, just be prepared for a little bit of non-paved road to climb to access it. The apartment felt more spacious and open than I expected, and accommodated 3 adults quite comfortably. Wax bench was a nice bonus for us skiers!

We had a fantastic stay here! So insanely beautiful, peaceful, quiet. The apartment is very charming and spacious. I do think its kind of silly Airbnb won't let them list the interior room as a bedroom. It is a large room and nice dark sleeping space. I really appreciate they allow dogs. We had no issues and really enjoyed out stay! We will be back.

This place was very beautiful and definitely very peaceful. We had a great time, even though the drive to activities was pretty far. My only wish was that it was a little more private as far as the other attached rental and housing. Very pretty walk along the brook and the hot tub was a beautiful added bonus. Thank you for the extras that were provided.! Great trip!

We stayed at this AirBnB as part of a family visit to North Hero, VT (further north) and I accidentally only booked one night instead of two. Jonathan was SUPER responsive and understanding, luckily there were no guests the second night so we extended the booking and Jonathan waived the cleaning fee for the first night so we only paid once. If you're looking for somewhere that can house numerous people in a quiet neighborhood and a host that's super responsive then highly recommend! Thanks again Jonathan!

Our group enjoyed Hélène’s place for our 1-night getaway! Nicely appointed & great location to the cute walkable town of Bromont. Only recco that I have if possible would be a small sign on the back door of the building where it was recommended to enter. Like “Bromont Lodge Entrance” or something similar. While it is the only door, it appeared to lead to a medi-spa, so we were confused:) Once we stepped inside all other instructions were crystal clear! Would love to check out another of Hélène’s places again!

We loved Tim’s apartment for our Stowe ski weekend. It was just as described and in a beautiful setting. Tim was also great to communicate with and very accommodating when we had some last minute changes to our plans. Will definitely stay here again on a return trip - highly recommend!

Quaint, peaceful little gem right on the river! It was exactly what we were looking for. Susan was very responsive and the location was perfect. Stocked with board/card games and the place was well prepared.

My group had a wonderful stay. Maude provided all the info you could need before arriving. The cabin had plenty of cookware and supplies to last our stay. Everything was clean, easy to use, and Maude was very responsive to any inquiries. I would stay here again!

We reserved this cabin on Air B&B for our thirty year old kids for a get away. They arrived and were shocked at how great the place looked. They found groceries and a restaurant so they were in paradise.

Space was exactly as described and very clean. Amy provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Can’t wait for my next chance to stay here again!

I had an amazing stay! Merle was kind, communicative, and made check-in/check-out seamless. The house is beautiful, clean, and tucked away in a peaceful, secluded area—perfect for my two pups and cat to roam freely. The mountain views and open fields were stunning, and the sunrise was absolutely magical. The home had all the essentials and is close to unique spots like the Bread and Puppet Museum, the Museum of Everyday Life, and Lake Willoughby, with great hiking and a beach. Just down the road is The Parker Pie Company—some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Inside is a small farm store where we picked up fresh eggs and milk for breakfast. One of the highlights was relaxing by the fire in the yard while the animals played. It was peaceful, refreshing, and just what I needed. If you’re looking to unplug, unwind, and enjoy nature—this is the place. I’m already planning to return in the summer!

We could not have asked for a better place for our eclipse adventure. The two bedroom cabin was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, cute and plenty of space for the 4 of us. We loved being out in the woods and enjoyed our walks around the pond enormously. Easy to get to restaurants and other activities, but away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Not a thing to complain about, and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Beautiful, cozy, and well stocked cabin with the most amazing lake view. Kim and Rich were super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again when I'm back in the area.
