Holiday rentals in Montijo

Eine niedliche kleine Wohnung - ausreichend für zwei Personen in einer ruhigen Gegend. Mit Mietauto, Zug, Metro und/oder Bus haben wir Lissabon und die Küste sowie Cascais, Porto Covo, Cobo do Roco, Sintra und Belém erkundet. Danke für die Restauranttipps, wir haben Joana com a Tapa in Alcochete ausprobiert und uns wohlgefühlt.

Pudimos disfrutar de una ciudad como Lisboa a través del acceso desde el río Tajo, como nos recomendó Ricardo, que nos dejaba en el mismo centro y con muchas frecuencia de embarque desde Barreiro. El apartamento está en una zona tranquila, recomendable disponer de vehículo para moverse por la zona, como la Sierra Arrabida, que también nos recomendó. Gracias Ricardo.

Great apartment, clean and furniture that enable people to enjoy their stay. Worth staying in again although the area is with no attractions and restaurants. But overall good place to stay

Adorámos a estadia, o espaço é ótimo para grupos grandes e com crianças. Tanto a Catarina como a Dona Gina foram bastante flexíveis para maximizar a usufruicao do espaço pelo grupo. Muito obrigado :)

Maggie's place was exactly has she posted, in a calm zone, and is about 30 minutes from the coastline. The house is well equipped, and the air conditioner can give you comfortable nights in case it's too hot at night. Definitely recommend it.

the house is beautiful, located in a very peaceful setting with plenty of space. perfect for a family get together. The pool and house were very clean and Joao was friendly and helpful.

Dario and family were great hosts. We arrived during a power outage and they were extremely helpful in explaining what was going on and even booked an extra night for us in case we had to stay. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. It is somewhat hard to find the place without gps and so it really helps to have google maps. Lots of users comment that the yard is messy but I learned that in Portugal they let it overgrow because in the hot season it all dies anyway and then they cut it and make it look better for the summer. So that’s just the way of life in Portugal. This is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting Lisbon. We parked at Barreiro ferry terminal and took the boat across to Lisbon. Very easy. You could also drive to Lisbon but finding parking is often difficult or you need to be very creative.

I passed my time really well. Like to be at home. Simply perfect.

The location of the apartment is exactly as I had hoped - in a peaceful, quiet area and within a walkable distance to local supermarkets (including Aldi & Lidl). There were a couple of incidents (one of which was totally unforeseeable), but both of these were dealt with immediately by ‘Victoria’ who manages the property for Julien. Victoria was excellent. The only slight negative, as I’m a very light sleeper, was the thinness of the dividing walls. You can hear the neighbours moving around. They are extremely quiet after about 8:00pm, but when the family gets up at 6:45am to get the kids to school, the noise starts. It does, however, go quiet again about an hour later. If you sleep like a log, this won’t be an issue for you. Other than that, the surrounding area is stunning. Access to the North to places such as Lisbon, Nazaré, Peniche is easy (with a hire car). The same applies to Setubal and Sesimbra to the South.
