We had a lovely stay in Rachel’s beautiful home. The house was spotless and very well equipped with everything we needed for a week’s stay. And the garden and terrace are amazing! Rachel is super responsive and was very easy to contact with any questions. The book with suggestions of restaurants and places to visit was really useful. Great location and loved the chickens :). We would definitely stay again!

Great place with a fantastic view of the lake! I found everything to be as described with the sauna being an obvious highlight. Due to the house being located at a cul-de-sac, it feels very private (except for the odd rando intrigued by the view or the owner's sister collecting some furniture on Easter weekend). The autobahn is nearby, but its sound doesn't overwhelm that of the cow bells, so no big deal.

We had a great stay up at Wilerbädli for the second year. The location for our courses and the size make it a fantastic base. The house has a lot of character. Christian is always responsive and helpful.

Beautiful little accommodation, on the hillside, located at the birth of the Alps, a magnificent view of the mountain range and even Mont Blanc in good weather. Half an hour from Annecy or Geneva, an hour and a half from the beautiful ski resorts, ideally located. The accommodation is functional, well equipped, clean and easily accessible, with a private space to park in the shelter in front of the door. Our hosts welcomed us with a smile and good advice, then were of absolute discretion throughout our stay, despite the shared ownership between the accommodation and their house. Very good stay for three (two adults and a teenager) full of beautiful memories. Great value:price; We recommend.

We felt right at home there and also our children played there for hours. And then that view, I can't imagine this ever getting used to. We had a wonderful stay with Nicolas and his wife, who were very hospitable. We borrowed electric bikes and they also offered that we had to use the swimming pool, even though the family had a holiday. The cabin was a good condition and had everything we needed! All in all really a pleasure to spend a few days with Nicolas🌞 Would recommend to anyone!

From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. The home was not only beautiful and perfectly prepared, but the hosts made our stay truly unforgettable. They were incredibly helpful, genuinely kind, and full of warmth — it never felt like a commercial rental, but more like visiting family. Their care and energy made all the difference. ✨ They live nearby, which gave us a strong sense of comfort — we knew that if anything came up, they’d be there in a heartbeat (even though everything was already flawless!). We were even surprised with sweet personal touches that made us smile deeply. It was like stepping into a Ghibli world: full of charm, serenity, and heart. 💫 We’re so grateful for this experience and can't recommend this place — and these wonderful hosts — enough.

Christophes Maiensäss is located at 1900 M - high above Evolène - and offers fantastic views of Dent Blanche and Cervin (Matterhorn), especially from the sun terrace. Here you can also spend nice evening hours at the fire bowl. The Maiensäss can be reached via a somewhat adventurous but mobile pull path from Evolène. Christophe greeted us very nicely in Evolène and accompanied us at the first driveway. He can be reached at any time. The Maiensäss is very clean and cozy and decorated with a lot of love. The building technology - solar power, gas for cooking and hot water for showering - works perfectly. Short and long mountain hikes can be taken directly from Mayen, e.g. Lac d’Arbey (with good Buvette) or Pic Artsinol (3000 m). In Evolène there is a well-stocked coop with free Wi-Fi - not completely unimportant for German tourists with EU data roaming;). We really enjoyed our holiday week and would be happy to come back.
