Lovely townhouse. Great tub and comfy bed! The garage was an added bonus. The hosts were very kind and helpful if we needed anything. The neighbourhood is a little busy/noisy and the bedrooms are bright in the morning so I suggest earplugs and a sleep mask if you are a light sleeper!

Loved our stay at this cute little cottage! The views were stunning—perfect for morning coffee or just relaxing at the end of the day. The place was super cozy and had everything we needed. Andrea was really responsive and made everything easy. Would totally come back! The views from the living room were amazing. We watched the ducks and geese swim by all while sitting on the couch.

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! Looking forward to our next stay, and more amazing family moments. Thank you Meagan!

We had a pleasant stay at the chalet. We were a group of 9 people. Everything was perfect. The decor, the outdoor environment, the comfort of the cottage, the cleanliness. The kitchen is very well equipped. Everything is provided as stated in the description. Very spacious kitchen and living room. The very comfortable rooms. There is no drinking water, but the host had notified us and we brought our water bottles. We would definitely recommend this place. Thanks to the team for a lovely stay.

The gorgeous log cabin was exactly as described, very private and beautifully decorated- especially the glass artwork and glassware from Gray Glass Art/Gather Glassblowing & Brewery which is right in town. The quaint town of Merrickville was only a 10 minute drive and worth a visit. The wood burning sauna, hot tub, inside wood stove and fire pit made us feel like we had our own nordic spa. Liz & Mike were so responsive and helpful. Thank you for hosting us, we had such a lovely birthday away :)

This was an excellent place for our group of 8, lots of space and equipped with everything. It was really nice to have the hot tub under a shelter, the kitchen and living areas were spacious. The two separate eating areas were ideal for the group , lovely scenery , and excellent location.

The house was perfect—cozy, welcoming, and just a few minutes from our family home in Ottawa, which made everything so convenient. Every guest loved the vibes of the house, especially the event hall. It was beautifully set up and created the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony and reception. The BBQ dinner was a hit, and everyone had a blast enjoying the meal together. A special shoutout to the lovely lady who took care of the cleaning. She was not only efficient but also incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring everything was spotless and comfortable. Your place has definitely earned a spot on our Ottawa Airbnb favorites list. What a beautiful and clean house! We visited in April, so I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer. The house is as in the pictures, and was squeaky clean! It was also very spacious and can easily accommodate a large family. The house has beautiful views and very sunny. One of the showers was leaky when used and water was getting into the bedroom downstairs but host was communicative. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend it to others!
