Our country house is in the Loire Valley, famous for it's Chateaux such as Amboise, Chaumont, Blois, Chenonceau or Chambord, all of which are a stone's throw. Originally from England I have lived in the area for 30 years and can help you enjoy your vacation without the language barrier. Cycle paths run along the Loire river - bikes can be rented in nearby Chaumont, or you can take a lazy boat trip down the river or hire canoes. Wine tasting of local Touraine wine is close by, as is Beauval Zoo.

Our 14th century house is located in the heart of Touraine, a region known for its castles and fine wines. The house is 180 m²: Ground floor with 2 bedrooms (1 double bed 160 x 200 cm and 2 single beds that can be pushed together), a kitchen, dining room, living room, 1 bathroom. 1st floor with 1 master suite (160 x 200 double bed), a bathroom and a charming small covered balcony. The garden is 600 m² and includes a private in-ground heated pool.

The property, located 400 meters from Chambord National Park, welcomes you in a natural area crossed by the river "Le Cosson", from where you can discover the prestigious castles of the Loire, Beauval Zoo and its surrounding historic towns. We will welcome you to our home, whose garden with its different species of trees makes up an arboretum that promotes calm and rest. The swimming pool is available to the cottage and the 2 guest rooms.

The place is ideal for recharging your batteries! Imagine a lovely 37 m² house buried in the rock, completely restored with eco-friendly materials. The cave does not have a mobile network.
