Apart from sheep and cows, it is more than likely that you will spot the Sea Eagles flying overhead and landing in the crags opposite the cabin. Herons, Oyster Catchers and Otters are often seen at the head of the loch

The pod is ideally situated to allow you to leisurely visit all the major tourist attractions and the many other hidden gems, located on our beautiful Island. The pod has a panoramic view stretching from Beinn na Caillich - towering 732 metres above the village of Broadford to the west - and to the Applecross hills (made of some of the oldest rocks in the world) to the east.

Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a ¾ double bed, single bed and a fold-down bunk. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.

Welcome back to Taigh Glas Studio. Taigh Glas, situated in Lochbay, Waternish, a natural heritage peninsula, overlooks the ocean, the Stein Waterfront and sunsets over the Western Isles. The house is a short walk from Lochbay Michelin star Restaurant and Stein Inn, and along the road from Skye Skyns and their yurt with coffee and home made cakes. It’s centrally situated for all of Skye’s iconic sights such as Storr, Quiraing, Fairy Pools and Fairy Glen.
