Glamping Pod, Guershader, Isle of Lewis

Welcome to the pod! Only 2 miles from Stornoway ferry terminal and approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre, the pod is situated in front of my own home in the village of Guershader on the outskirts of Stornoway. This is an ideal location if you’re travelling through the Islands and looking for a short stop-over. Looking for a longer stay? 'Laimishader' is a cosy 1 bedroom log cabin in a prime location to explore the historic attractions of the westside of Lewis.Located in close proximity to the Hebridean Way, Laimishader is ideal as a base to visit such sights as Callanish Stones, Garenin Blackhouses, and Doune Carloway Broch. Carloway is also home to 2 stunning beaches, Dal Mor and Dal Beag,and is ideal for hill walkers, cyclists, surfers,birdwatchers,or simply those looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

The Mangersta Pod

When you arrive at The Mangersta Pod you will find yourself in an extremely clean and comfortable haven. To ensure you have a good night's sleep the camping mattresses were replaced by a comfortable mattress right from the start. Situated in the village of Mangersta on the Atlantic coast of Lewis, the pod is a few minutes walk away from a remote beach and stunning cliff walks. This is an area of exceptional natural beauty with over 20 beaches as well as beautiful moorland and lochs.

Large pod 6m in length and 3.3m wide, within a 8 minute drive from Arisaig. Silversands is a family run Business located in a picturesque Highland location. The pod sits directly on the coastline with the beach directly to the front of the pod. The location is perfect for people who appreciate the beautiful scenery and a relaxing holiday in a very quiet location. Silversands is situated approximately a 5 minute walk from Triagh golf course & beautiful beaches surrounding the house

Gael

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a ¾ double bed, single bed and a fold-down bunk. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy

Bespoke built, Avalon Chalet is a modern self-catering chalet. Situated in the picturesque township of Borve, only 4 miles from Portree, where there are a variety of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Ideal quiet location for your day trips around Skye. Beautiful views and sunsets. Only 20 minutes from Uig Ferry terminal Ample parking Wi fi During April / May, there are plenty cute baby lambs on the croft.
