You will be renting the entire Edo period doso.Relax in a hideaway near a convenience store.

We renovated a two-story storehouse built in the Edo period and made it into a guest house. Although it is not spacious, a kitchen with an IH cooking heater is installed on the first floor, while maintaining the atmosphere of a storehouse with its earthen walls and thick beams. The first and second floors are equipped with air conditioning for a comfortable stay. You can experience the sound insulation, summer coolness, and winter warmth unique to a storehouse. If you like, you can enjoy coffee made with freshly ground beans. Sister-gawa Onsen and Ibuki Yakuza-Yu are about 15 minutes away by car. We can provide you with a ticket for Sankawa Onsen (cheaper than the regular price). Please contact us about pick-up and drop-off. There are many tourist spots unique to Nagahama, which has often been the stage of history. Hikone Castle, a National Treasure, Toyotomi Hideyoshi's Nagahama Castle, the birthplace of Ishida Mitsunari, one of Japan's leading mountain castles, Otaki, the site of the battle, and others. It is also less than 20 minutes by car to the Sekigahara Battlefield. In addition to the area around Lake Biwa, there are plenty of non-historical attractions such as Japan's oldest railway station building, Nagahama Railway Square, the Yanmar Museum where children can play, and Kurobane Square. You can also enjoy gourmet food such as Omi beef, duck cuisine, grilled mackerel somen, noodles, salad bread, duck, and small ayu.

Chatsu Shiga Prefecture (Sleeping Jizo)

It will be in the north of Shiga Prefecture. It will be a natural city with few people. How about being a little away from the city and relaxing? The lake is sunny and we want you to see the fantastic scenery of red dyeing even with the naked eye. After you've seen them, you can talk about them all night with your friends from when you were a student in your pajamas. Please relax without worrying about rough clothes! When it gets dark, I bought it at a supermarket. You can sit around the hot pot and sip alcohol while making plans for the past and tomorrow. When you get more sleepy at night, how do you lie down? Even if you sleep late at night, it's time for breakfast when you wake up. I bought it for rice cooker and breakfast in the remaining pot yesterday. You can leave. I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.
