There are wooden deck besides living space, you will have relaxing time at the wooden deck with garden view. Electric bikes are rent for free. The apartment is 5 minutes walking from imperial garden , 7 minutes from Kyoto City Hall . Good mix of antique and modern kyoto , as many as you can find trendy restaurants and cafes & bakeries all around, you find traditional Japanese tea house and sweet stores also local eat-ins. Although commercial center is walking away distance , my place is on quiet one way street.

Kyoto's Renovated Machiya - Ieno House

Ieno House is one of the traditional machiyas (townhouses) in Kyoto, built more than 70 years ago. The architectural design was carried out by Shigenori Uoya at the Shigenori Uoya Architects and Associates in Kyoto, and a full renovation was carried out while inheriting the original elements of Kyoto-style machiya.
