If you take a taxi, you can park your car to the entrance of the inn.If you take a taxi from Kintetsu Nara Station, it takes about 5 minutes to get to the inn. There is an hourly parking lot nearby, so please use coin parking if you come by car.(Parking is a 30-second walk from the inn) Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe in Hyogo Prefecture can also be accessed by train (about 40-60 minutes), making it convenient for sightseeing in all directions based on the accommodation. Nishimura-Tei Hanare ― 100-year-old traditional house with kitchen & dining

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

This house is a great location, about a 7-minute walk from JR Nara Station, and about a 10-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station and Shin-Omiya Station. There is a Lawson convenience store a 1-minute walk from the house, which is very convenient. Nara Park is about a 15-minute walk. From Nara Station, you can get to Osaka and Kyoto in about 40-50 minutes without changing trains. One car can park for free.

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
