Monthly Rentals in Namaqualand

My boyfriend, our 3 dogs and I stayed for my birthday weekend. The cottages are perfect, the bed is super comfy, the day bed outside the kitchen is the perfect chill spot. The donkey shower is easy to get going and gives you an amazing hot shower. Loved the little details, body scrub in the shower, cute pot of honey in the kitchen. The view is gorgeous and we even got to see a lightning storm in the valley below the cottage. You could probably hike the whole farm over a week, so many great trails to walk and run. The dam was a bonus on a hot day after a hike. The host Hope was lovely and very responsive. Would also be an epic winter getaway spot, I would have loved to get the indoor fires going. Loads of wildlife on the farm, heard baboons in the distance on the mountain, saw various bokkies, zebra & horses. Perfect place for ours dogs to roam around, they're completely exhausted. I can't fault the place, it's wonderful and I would 10/10 stay again

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful home nestled in the Cederberg mountains. The setting is absolutely stunning — surrounded by nature, peaceful, and full of breathtaking views. It’s the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. The house itself is charming, well-equipped, and thoughtfully maintained. You can really feel the care that’s been put into it. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming of coming back for a longer stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Cederberg in comfort and tranquility.

Situated what seems like in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful! The pool is perfect to enjoy after a day of tanning & the place is beautiful, so well decorated & has everything you may need. PS the sourdough bread Simon’s son bakes is an absolute must try!! Thanks Simon we will be back.

Enjoyed my stay. It was so peaceful. Marietha was a perfect host. Extremely friendly and helpful. You can see the effort and love she puts into her Art House. Lots of antiques, quirky touches and goods to buy. A great stop along the N7, especially with not much to do in Bitterfontein. I appreciate her love for nature. Had a lovely morning chat too. Extremely clean, bedding smelt great! Everything is catered for. Overall a comfortable and unforgettable stay.
