In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Welcome to our renovated 100years building. Enjoy our spacious home with an on-site sake bar in an old warehouse, open to both guests and locals. Use the hearth at your request; we'll light it upon arrival. Original wood, furniture, and equipment add a unique touch. A brief room tour is included during check-in. Nearby attractions: Shirayama-hime and Kinken Shrine. Kanazawa is a 20-minute drive, or take the Ishikawa Line. Personalized local recommendations available upon request.
