Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Netherlands Antilles

We really enjoyed our week at Astrid's, it is away from the chaos and close to many locations we find enjoyable on the island. We felt safe in the house and surrounding area for morning walks. We did drive to the beach, it was fine for a walk but not with our chairs and waters. A car is a must. The house was really well stocked and the welcome basket was such a nice touch. The snack shack just down the road was great for a breakfast treat, seaview takeaway for lunch was tastey and a good value. Santa cruz is less than 10 mins to the park and Horchada for great breakfasts. We ran into a water issue and Astrid was super responsive, she is a great host.

We had a fantastic stay at the Yellow Escape. We especially enjoyed the spacious garden with the private pool, shaded patio and gas BBQ which we used every day! Roxanne was a fantastic host and was always on hand to help if we needed anything. Highly recommend the Yellow Escape to families and/or those wanting an alternative experience to the resorts.

It was the second time we came to the house after 3 years. We really love this place, it’s really amazing and only 5/10 minutes walking to palm beach. The communication with Carol and the host overthere is perfect. Nothing is too much for them and always very friendly. I can only give 10/10 and we hope we can come back to the house in the future.

Second time staying and I have no complaints. Love the area. Jennifer is very attentive and friendly. Place is very well kept and clean. Definitely missed having access to the backyard. Was looking forward to looking up at the sky while laying down in the trampoline. 😀 Thank you Jennifer for checking up on us during the power outage. We enjoyed our stay very much! The house is as seen in the pictures. Clean with modern decor. It was just me and my husband so we were extremely comfortable both in and outside the home. We always felt safe. The beautiful landscape, trees, and vines were lovely to admire as we sat in the outside covered area and enjoyed looking at the beach. You do hear the music from cars passing occasionally (mostly on the weekend), but that didn't bother us. I only mention bc I know that may be important for some. We know it's the culture and part of the PR experience. If you are looking to fish, the beach is very shallow for about 1000 feet. You have to go way out to cast a line and get into the deeper waters. There is also a lot of coral reefs out in the deeper area, so beware of snags. It may be a good area to snorkel though. Despite the challenges, we did catch a nice 16 inch yellow tail snapper. That was fun! Would definitely rent again and recommend to others.

Jacky’s place was more than expected. It was very cozy and clean, she had everything one needed in the kitchen as well as for the outside, like beach chairs and beach umbrellas ⛱️ some were newer than others but still very helpful to have them when going to the beach. Jacky even had a cooler and a cooling bag where we took our snacks to the beach. We also had clean towels for the house and beach towels. Jacky was super responsive and always helped when we had questions or recommendations. I definitely recommend her cozy home and will like to be back in the near future! Thank you for everything Jacky!

I stayed together with my family in this beautiful place and the stay was just incredible, the place is just as described, it is even much bigger compared to the photos, everything is very clean and tidy, the rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need, the bathrooms have a hot shower, it really is a very cozy place. Also the hosts are very friendly and helpful, they helped us with everything we needed. We definitely recommend this place! 🫶🏻🤩

The apartment is super centric. Very nice, clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. Parking in front, which was an A+ for us. It has a laundry room, although we didn't use it, which is also great. A quiet and peaceful place. Mr. Armando was very attentive to make our stay the best it could be. I would definitely contact him again. 100% recommended!

I made a late reservation for this place. They could have easily cancel the reservation, instead, they communicated with me to allow them some time to clean the place. Once the were done cleaning the inform me that I could check in and if needed I were allowed to check out later if needed. The place was spotless and very comfy. Thank you so much.

The check-in was easy. the place is nice and cozy. and pretty much everything is relatively close (supermarket, gas station, convenient store, beach), but still I recommend rent a car. this location is a perfect place for everyone who wants a quiet and relax spot in Aruba. 10 of 10

Need a car to get around

This was a nice place to stay. Roberto was friendly. The pool was quite large. The apartment was small but had what we needed.

All great! Problem free check-in and check-out. Spacy apartment that has absolutely everything needed even for a long-term stay. At the same time close by to everything if you have a car.

Overall this was one of the best experiences we had when staying in Aruba via AirBnB. The host was very responsive, the check in process was seamless, and they were always great about helping answer any questions etc. The room was very well maintained. Overall we loved the trip and will definitely rent from them again.

Jayne provided exceptional hospitality, exceeding our expectations. The accommodations were pleasing and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and convenient stay. The location was within walking distance of the beach and had many restaurants nearby. Jayne’s prompt and efficient response to our inquiries was truly remarkable. She effectively addressed any challenges we encountered, demonstrating a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. On our initial night, an air conditioning malfunction occurred. Despite the inconvenience, Jayne promptly offered alternative solutions and promptly refunded our first night’s stay. She arranged for the necessary repairs to be completed the following day. Jayne’s exceptional hospitality extended beyond her professional responsibilities. She even left us a bottle of wine! Her genuine care and concern for her guests make her an outstanding host. I highly recommend staying with Jayne, as she offers an exceptional guest experience.

This home offers everything you want in an airbnb. The check in was easy, the home was gorgeous and very clean, the pool was literal steps from the back door. In the morning I would clean up after breakfast while my kids & husband went to the pool, Id leave the screen door open and hear their laughter echoing through the palm trees. Walk a few steps past the pool and you are at the beach. Not crowded at all, some days we had the whole beach to ourselves It was heaven on earth. But an airbnb is only as good as its host so I must mention that Barry and Heather are TOP NOTCH. Although I have never met them they feel like friends. From local recommendations to friendly banter and interest in our family I feel like they genuinely care about their guests and that is so rare these days. I am so grateful to them for being so kind, welcoming and accommodating. One final thing the bed OMG I took a picture of the tag because I swear it is the best bed I've ever slept in. Amazing stay!!

Kevin's condo was great met all of our needs. Was clean and comfortable. Plenty of hanger and shelf space. We were 2 couples, plenty of room for together and alone time. Two en suit bathrooms for privacy. Great views, close to pools, and a short walk to beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. Everyone including staff and other owners were extremely friendly and informative. Kevin was a great host. Quick to reply an answered all questions. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Great place to stay.

I went to 3 friends and the apartment was everything I expected. Very well equipped, and the condominium is very beautiful with beautiful pools. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away. The condo has a reception (they are finally the hosts) in which they help in everything, very good service. Everything works tidy. I would just notice that one of the beds creaked a bit. Also keep in mind that the air conditioning must always be on and that maintains a level of noise that you should get used to. Neither of these two things pack an exceptional walk. I would definitely come back.

We had a great stay. The location is fantastic ! There was a renovation going on at Lagun beach, but it should be finished by now. Scott was very responsive and accommodating, I would recommend this place!!! We had a great time!

This was the fourth time we stayed at Tracy’s condo, and as always, the place was perfect in every way…. well maintained condo and resort with wonderful amenities, great location, all in a beautiful tropical paradise. Communications with Tracy was great, and the easy check-in process with Rica, makes for an stress-free start to your vacation. Thank you Tracy for another wonderful stay!
