Holiday rentals in New Columbia

We loved this place so much, that we had to come back again weeks later! We wish we could stay every weekend! Check out Central Park Hotel in Benton for some really delicious food. Colonel Ricketts Hard Cider is also a great spot.

Beautiful house. Had an amazing stay at the house. Felt right at home, everything was clean and tidy! It was a nice place for kids and adults. The trail was a great addition for our experience at there.

The perfect cottage for a girls getaway to go antiquing. I've stayed in 4 Airbnb's this year and this home felt the most cozy and comfortable with live plants, cute pillows, and all the lovely decorations the are needed to prevent a cold, sterile environment. We greatly enjoyed the wood burning fireplace with 2 fires during our stay. The bathtub is fabulous and the kitchen was well equipped and clean. The front porch provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the peacefulness of the creek and the occasional clickety clack of horse hoofs from an Amish horse and buggy. Lastly, a stay is only as good as the host's service. The electric power went out in the area and Brenda kindly delivered a cell phone charger, candles and kindling wood for our wood fire at 10 pm. We would most definitely stay here again.

It's a beautiful, fairly secluded cabin with a spacious interior overlooking a small lake. We all enjoyed the board games, awesome fireplace and warm floors. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and cozy. The hosts did an amazing job too. They were responsive and helpful (we took their recommendation and went hiking at World's End - it was the perfect 2 hour winter hike). It also snowed while we were there and the hosts got someone to clear the snow within 2 hours. We drove an AWD SUV and it was absolutely needed in that area - Google Maps took us on a few steep and snowy mountain roads. On the technical side, the open Wi-Fi worked well, the TV had Roku with Netflix and automatic sign-off on checkout date. The AudioTechnica turntable connected to Edifier bookshelves was a nice touch for audiophiles, but we eventually settled on using Alexa to play music. Overall, the cabin far exceeded my expectations and we would gladly come back!

Patti was a joy as a host. From excellent communication to having the nicest, cleanest place I've stayed. Really awesome experience. Will absolutely return. 5 stars. No negative comments. Literally perfect.

Patricia and Larry are one of the best hosts ever. The listing photos does not do this place enough justice. It was waaaay more beautiful in person. From the scenery to the cool knick knacks in the cabin, the whole stay was worth while. We are gatekeeping this place as it has become a place where my fiance and I made lasting memories. Coming back soon!!

The is beautiful well kept and right on the river. We were in to visit our son at Bucknell University. The house was so close to campus. We hope to return again soon.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed and was well stocked. The setting was great and close to the state park. We were offered a late checkout and an extra night for free because of a snow storm. I would stay there again.
