Holiday rentals with a fire pit in New Haven County

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this Airbnb, I like it because it's not too far from stuff to do or places to eat. It's also really close to all of my friends houses which was nice. Usually pretty quiet, rarely had some cars go by that were loud but other than that, it was pretty quiet. If you plan on staying in Meriden for a week or two, I would recommend this Airbnb because it's good for its value. The host is also very helpful, any issue I had, I would just let her know and she would get it fixed ASAP. Very friendly and responded rather often, even if she was busy.

This was our second time staying at the Artist Retreat! It felt like we were going home! It is a beautiful spot and looking forward to returning in the fall!

We had a group of 8 adults and 7 kids (5 and under) and the space was great for a large group! There was plenty of room for the kids to run around downstairs and the large yard was fantastic. We were there in the winter so couldn’t take advantage of the pool but we did make a trip to the local beach (5 min drive) and use the fire pit. I definitely recommend Gregory’s place for both larger groups and families! We would love to return!

Jacqueline’s Airbnb was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Jacqueline was very responsive to our questions and made us feel welcomed in her home.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend time with our family and enjoy the Litchfield area! Perfectly clean home, beautiful property, stylish and comfortable! We had everything we needed to do some light cooking, Kevin and Jerry quickly answered questions and gave great suggestions. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I've stayed her many times for business trips. Always convenient, comfortable and quiet. Meets my needs ideally.

My family and I have stayed at a ton of different airbnbs, vrbos and vacation rentals both stateside and abroad and I have to say Anne’s property is among one of the best we’ve stayed in. We were traveling with twin toddlers and the space was perfect. Anne is very friendly, the place is larger than we expected, very clean and you can tell Anne cares to the make the best experience possible. All the little touches were so wonderful - she has beach chairs, reusable beach bags, sunscreen, books, kids toys, coloring accessories, balls and toys, an outdoor game, hammock, lanterns, lights, fire pit and wood, you name it - it’s there. It was one of the most convenient stays we’ve had. We’d love to return and I couldn’t recommend it enough!!

The place matched the description perfectly and much more spacious than what one usually finds for a single bed/bath apartment. I enjoyed the stay and would return again. For me it was a perfect place to accommodate overflow thanksgiving guests over the holiday.

Cute place, ideal for a couple. Location was perfect, next to coffeehouses, restaurants and bars and a short walk to the water. Most definitely will stay here again.

It was very neat and clean. Fully stocked. Plenty of room. Wonderful private entrance. Cool outdoor seating area. Tracey was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Great location and fantastic host! The house was within blocks of great restaurants and the Peabody museum. The inside was clean, homey, and comfortable. We made use of the great movie selection and the kids loved the comic books! We have some new Foxtrot fans as a result :) Parking couldn't have been easier with the provided passes and Christian was so kind and flexible about our need for a late check out. In fact, all communication was prompt and there were thoughtful little touches throughout the property. We'd definitely stay again!

We had such a nice stay at Brian’s! The place was very large and comfortable. Brian was very responsive and helpful multiple times. The area was nice and we always felt safe. I would definitely recommend Brian and this location!

Great communication. Great space. very beautiful home and outdoors. perfect if you have kids. We used the playground and grill. Very flexible, easy to reach and very friendly.

I chose Marlene’s lovely spot primarily because it was in a location convenient for short trips to visit family and friends in Wallingford, Middlebury and Middletown while on my way south from New Hampshire. The peaceful, quiet surroundings along with a spotless, well-appointed accommodation made it very appealing: highly recommended.

This was our second stay at this location. Our dogs love it here. My partner and I felt right at home. Would recommended this stay for anyone looking to recharge from a busy life. Thanks for a great stay Kara!

Place was amazing! Had a comfortable and peaceful stay. Is a beautiful home and close to everything that is needed. Loved how private it was and how clean everything was. Highly recommend.

Lovely and Rustic for sure. A bit of a hike 10-15 minutes up to it. Bed is comfy too.

We had a wonderful stay. The setting was serene and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cabin had everything we needed, was cozy, and we especially enjoyed spending time by the fireplace. It was the ideal spot to unwind over a long weekend. We would absolutely stay here again!

The host was friendly, helpful, and easy communication. Cabin was very spacious, bigger than looked in pictures. Very nice design, loved the balcony effect. Propane stove and grill worked great. Basic amenities well appreciated (Water, dishes, paper towels, flashlights) the property is beautiful, artwork, and places to explore. Highly recommend the mountain peak. Outhouse was clean and provided tp. Beds were made fresh and comfortable. Overall a great memory and would recommend for any cabin campers. Thanks!
