This Little House has a Rustic Western Décor, with modern kitchen, it has an awesome rock fireplace, lots of slate stone, oak floors. Wasta is "very" small". It is 18 miles to the Badlands and 40 miles to the Black Hills. If traveling from the east I recommend buying groceries in Wall, S.D. or from the West, Rapid City, S.D. There i s "The Wasta Bar " opening June 29th, a gas station with vending machines. I hope you'll enjoy your stay, Thank You, Billie
“It was pitch black when we arrived to a warm, lit and cozy house. When we woke in the morning, it was to a beautiful landscape - hills in the distance, tons of flowers in the garden and a big pumpkin patch in the front yard. We were there only briefly, but we appreciated Billie's hospitality and excellent dining suggestions. She was very responsive any time we messaged her about arrival times and quickly answered all questions. Many thanks again for a great visit!”

“This unit is spectacular. Mary and Dan are great hosts. The room was sparkling clean. They have decorated very professionally, almost to the point where I felt like I was at home. Mary has left helpful little labels all over the cabin for direction as well as ideas for things to do around the Black Hills area. My two boys, 11 and 7, loved it and already want to go back. They love the lighting, the outside areas, and Jelly Bean, the cat. This has been by far the most homey and comfortable AirBnB I have stayed in. I give this a 10 out of 10 for sure.”
“These guys thought of everything. The room in the basement was chilly as they warned, but they had a space heater ready to go which made the room quickly the perfect temperature. The location was great, just over 30 min to Mt. Rushmore, and the yard and neighborhood had gorgeous views of the distant hills and sky. And if you get a chance, eat at Himalayan Kitchen which they recommended and it is the best Indian food I’ve had!!”
