Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Newark

My gang of friends agreed we’d happily come back here again - lovely setting & big driveway for parking; comfy bedrooms and generous number of bathrooms; well-equipped kitchen compared to most rentals; pleasant but unobtrusive decor; and short, clear host instructions. And it was so warm for December that we even got to hang out on the patio, also comfy & welcoming. I think the only things (and they were very minor) that we’d recommend adding would be conventional potholders, a few more sets of silverware, a couple more DR chairs, and a reminder sign about the step down from the kitchen into the DR. Overall, would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Susan and Emily were fantastic hosts. Excellent response time, and provided great information and recommendations. Our pup loved the fenced yard and all of the hiking and walking areas nearby. We highly recommend the cottage, especially for those with furry friends, and look forward to returning sometime.

This cottage is a lovely place to stay, had everything we needed and the coffee bar was wonderful :) The location is absolutely beautiful and very quiet. Stores, restaurants and Longwood Gardens are within short driving distance. We highly recommend Nicki's cottage.

Dijanas place was perfect, we were in town for a funeral and she was very accommodating. check-in was simple, the neighbors even stopped by and said hello. She even let us know we could check in slightly early if we needed it. The home was well stocked as pictured had a perfectly fenced backyard for our furry friends and close to breakfast places coffee at the hospital if you needed it. would highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

My family and I were in town to visit family and friends, and this townhouse was exactly what we wanted. It has everything one needs when away from home, and is very comfortable. Everyone slept well. Highly recommend!

Cute cottage in a great location. We loved how clean it is and cozy. Walking distance to everything! One note- I will say the loft might be a little tricky if you have small children who would sleep up there or you are older. The ladder is quite steep. It was steeper and higher than it appeared in photos.

We had a great time staying here. The host is very helpful when we ask for help or assistance.

One of the best shower heads I have ever had the pleasure to use. Took a ton of will power to not stay in the shower the whole stay. It appears that Ruthie and her family live in the house when guests are not staying. That did not bother me and my guest, but something to note. Really close to a Casino if that is what you are looking for. Less than a 5 min walk.

Beautiful house right on the water. The view over the river is breathtaking. I don't know if you get used to it if you live there, but it was a wonder every morning when seeing it or when coming back to the large living space.

House and yard were spacious, master bed was super comfy and location was perfect.

Great location and space. Perfect for our group to be able to hang out together vs the planned hotel rooms. Plenty of space and a couple different locations to hang out.

A great sunset view from the balcony, such a nice quiet river/bay beach, peaceful community to walk around. Would stay in again! Would note there’s 1 flight of stairs up as it’s a 2nd floor condo of sorts; and a big hill/stairs down to the beach. However, also a parking lot if needed to drive to the beach. Beach chairs were nice to have. There was no cooking oil but I think we left some :) I would only ask they replace the dining room chair with the hole in the seat. The pool was closed and that was not expected! Adam was very responsive when we messaged.

We had a wonderful time with our family!! Kids loved the playset and the place was perfect!! Would love to visit again!!

We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The home is very comfortable and the neighborhood quiet.

Cassandra's Place is STILL absolutely wonderful. I stayed here once before and the reason it was only once is because she's ALWAYS booked when I'm looking to come back. But I was blessed with an opportunity to return and it was as amazing as the first time. She is an amazing host who is very responsive and take good care of my every need. She left me a note welcoming me back. Great touch. I wanted to go to WaWa to get some snacks and something to drink. She already took care of that. I felt at home. Home away from home. Off street parking is also a big plus. Long story short, I love it there. She deserves a great review, but the only downside is I'll probably never be able to stay there again. Keeping my fingers crossed.

This is the second time we've visited and Louita was as hospitable as ever. The whole process was easy and everything exactly as described.

Jess & Jess's place was amazing. She made sure we had everything we talked about. The home was absolutely beautiful, towels were fluffy & soft, beds were comfy & there is plenty of room. There are about 8 steps to go up to the house & a few at the door. We enjoyed watching the wildlife. i would definitely stay here again.

Meghan’s place was great. Close to the gardens we were visiting. Her place was incredibly charming, well decorated and had lots of amenities. I highly recommend it.
