The Vardo - a charming bohemian caravan

Stay overnight in a vardo, a unique and charming bohemian-style caravan inspired by 19th century English and Irish shepherd's huts. This cozy space sleeps 2 people and includes a cooking facilities, indoor and outdoor seating and free firewood. The bath house has includes a modern composting toilet, solar shower stall and hand/dish washing station. We are located close to wineries, state parks with gorges & waterfalls, lakes, the vibrant city of Ithaca, Cornell University and Ithaca College.

Enjoy our forest in cabin w/queen bed near creek w/electricity, lights, portable heater, hammock, picnic table, fire pit w/grill, BBQ& chairs. A short walk uphill 2 outdoor hot water on demand private shower & toilet. Well water from sink & spiquot drinkable. No firewood can come in b/c of invasive species so we sell bundles on porch. Park next to cabin. Near Ithaca, Watkins Glen, State Parks- Treman, Buttermilk, Taughannock & Watkins Glen & 60 wineries/breweries around Lakes Seneca & Cayuga.

House on the Hill

A tiny house with the comforts of home. Single Bedroom stair free in-law suite with amazing sunsets and the feeling of being in the middle of the woods while still being close enough to enjoy a reasonable drive to some of the Finger Lakes best hiking trails, food, wineries and other destination locations. If you come in the winter you will want an all wheel drive vehicle if there is snow on the roads, but half a mile down the hill and you are on the state highway to the finger lakes region.

Relax in the circular comfort of the yurt nestled on the edge of woods & farm. 1/4 mile off the main road, enjoy quiet & convenient access to wineries, food, lakes & waterfalls. The yurt is clean, comfortable, and authentically rustic. Ample space and high-speed internet allow for working remotely or relaxing. Outside, enjoy the gardens, sip local wine on the deck as the sun sets, stargaze, nap in the hammock, or cozy up by the warmth of an evening bonfire, or the friendly farm dog.

Forest Glamping

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars in a large canvas bell tent with a real, full size bed. Tucked into the woods, just a short distance from Watkins Glen and the Seneca Wine Trail. The shared modern bath house is a short walk from the site with running potable water and a shower. The property is off grid (no electricity) which means excellent star gazing! Linens are provided. Our place is perfect for those wanting a peaceful, quiet country experience. The rooms are tastefully decorated in bohemian french country with chandeliers and the rustic interior of an 1800s barn. Our property is host to numerous bird species and wildlife. Nature preserves, trail and gorge hiking, public swimming, local wineries are minutes away from our convenient location. Cultural attractions in downtown Ithaca and Cayuga Lake recreation are a quick 10 mile drive.
