Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Newton County

Hands down the best AIR BnB experience ever! Location was perfect, house was pristine and the sunset from the front porch was the greatest thing you’ll ever see.

Needed a place the first night for my daughter to recuperate and recharge from 4 days on the Buffalo before heading home, and then a night and day for my wife and I to enjoy together. Couldn't have been better on both counts! Enjoyed plenty of the local stuff, great firepit area, washer, dryer, watching the ballgame, excellent kitchen, comfortable beds and scenic views from the porch. Everything is just as pictured, and seemed new and fresh - very clean! Several things we forgot were already there. It was perfect for us, and we could have had 2 kids for the bunk beds and huge yard. Modern appliances. Advice: Have someone wake up before sunrise to determine if everyone else needs to be seeing it! Loved - would do again!

Wonderful spot near some world class climbing destinations, the main reason for our stay. The cottage was wonderful and our group has more than plenty of space to rest, have dinner, and hang out after a long day of climbing. Will definitely keep this on my list for future stays Thank you!

We were with 4 other couples and had more than enough room! The place was very clean. We loved how peaceful it was. If we ever needed a larger home we would stay there again.

Enjoyed the location for easy walking to the restaurants and other features of this very small town. You are always close to everything.

Worked perfectly for what we needed. Clean, comfortable, and the Ping Pong table was a fun value add. We will be back on our next trip to Arkansas!

We went to kayak/canoe the Buffalo from Ponca to Kyle's Landing. The location is perfect for our plans. We did some hiking on Sunday (Lost Valley trail - Eden Falls and it was amazing going into the falls), drove to Ozark Cafe in Jasper which it was only 25 minutes away. If and when we go back, we'll definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay for visiting the Buffalo River area. The house was roomy and had everything we needed. A very secluded location which was nice.

Katie has a beautiful apartment connected to her home, but with a private porch and entrance. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and thoughtful. She has lots of info of things to do in the surrounding area and she knows the area well when we spoke. I felt very comfortable and in a private space to just relax. I will definitely stay here again—just love the Ozarks and the beauty. The town itself is small and cute—and the surrounding area is stunning. It’s a great place to base out of and day trip in every direction for adventures!!

Melissa is a fantastic host! When I got in contact regarding some logistical concerns, she was extremely helpful, clear, and fast to respond. Melissa really takes care of her guests!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Valerie and Johnny were very welcoming and the loft is beautifully decorated. A must visit if you find yourself around the area. Great amenities, friendly hosts, and a great deal at the price. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again.

We loved our stay at Melissa’s cozy little Airbnb! It was walking distance to the Ozark Cafe, which was great food! Was in town, yet close enough to all the hikes we came up to do! Very clean, nicely decorated, price was great, and it was everything we expected. It was a great little home base for all of our outdoor adventures. We spend a lot of time in the Jasper/Ponca area and we will definitely reserve this Airbnb again!

We needed a clean, comfy place to sleep between hiking days and this airbnb was good for that. We appreciated the fridge and coffee machine/supplies. The bed was VERY comfy and the unit was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was nice with plenty of fluffy towels and soap and shampoo. I liked the way the unit was decorated with a nature theme. There are several restaurants in walking distance for all meals. We appreciate Melissa for providing such a clean, comfy overnight for us.

It wasn't clear that the kitchen didn't have a regular cooktop stove but instead had a 2 burner induction plate. Ultimately we made it work even though we cooked all of our food at the house. there is also a nice sized toaster oven as well. The place was clean and comfortable and we feel like it was priced very well. loved that it was close to a great little coffee shop (Peggy Sue's) and pet friendly. the walls are quite thin and you could hear neighbors talking and their TVs. we tried to be sensitive to this for our neighbors sake and it wasn't bad but was noticable. overall a great stay.
