A simple yet rich rural life that has continued since the Edo period!

Spend a relaxing time with friends around the Irori fireplace. You can enjoy the Goemon bath, kamado, and old-fashioned slow life while feeling the season with the wind and sky patterns (there is a cassette stove, IH heater, and shower). You can also cook with a wood stove and BBQ outdoors. 　10 minutes by car from Izumo City Station. Izumo Taisha is 25 minutes away. There is also a hot spring nearby. The 20 tatami mat Japanese-style room is a private bedroom, and the kitchen and toilet are shared. There is a design office in the warehouse, and I work from 8:30 am to 6 pm on weekdays. You can also use the thatched cottage with a good view. 　There is also air conditioning, but in the summer, if you open the veranda and hang a mosquito net, the summer night breeze will invite you to sleep comfortably. From spring to autumn, you can hear the nostalgic sounds of frogs, cicadas, and bell crickets. 　If you are unfamiliar with charcoal or fire, I can help you if the timing is right. Firewood is free, but please bring your own BBQ charcoal if you use the sunken hearth. It is 1.6 km to the supermarket and 5 km to Izumo Station. It feels good to walk or jog along the Tanabe-michi Road and Kawato-te in the early morning. Please keep pets on the dirt floor. In July and August, please pick blueberries from the garden.

Lani (mountain side) - a whole rental cottage near "Kii-Kabochaya" in Setouchi National Park

This is a rental cottage by the sea on Naoshima, a sacred place for art. There are two buildings, one on the sea side and one on the mountain side, and Lani is the building on the mountain side. Free parking is available on-site, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a separate two-story building, and the first floor bedroom has 6 beds, and the second floor Japanese-style room can accommodate up to 2 futons, so it can accommodate 6 to 8 people. It is ideal for families and friends, as well as for student training camps and seminars, as it has a family-type kitchen and washing machine. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to Yellow Pumpkin, and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing in Naoshima. Enjoy a relaxing time in Naoshima in a room made with plenty of wood by a local carpenter. We have also started a Naoshima sightseeing tour for Ohana guests. There are many places in Naoshima, such as the art museum, that require reservations in advance, and we hope to provide a more fulfilling Naoshima sightseeing experience for those who use the tour, such as arranging tickets, car pick-up and drop-off, and even Naoshima sightseeing by rental bicycle. Shodoshima, 30 seconds to the sea, you can see the sea from any room

This house is located on the quiet seaside of Shodoshima Town. It is a house built just to watch the sunset over the sea. Unfortunately, we have a lot of stairs on the terrace, so it's not barrier free. (I will do my best to help with your luggage, etc.) However, at the top of the high terrace, the calm and beautiful sea of Setouchi, sparkling with sunlight, and the changing faces of the crimson sunset await you every day. Please enjoy an extraordinary time and forget about the time. You enter the room by climbing the terrace stairs. It is not barrier free. Please be sure to have an adult accompany you when going up and down stairs with small children. Also, there are many stairs on rainy days, so it may be inconvenient. Also, the road in front of the inn is not paved. Please note that this may cause some inconvenience. There are many insects because there is a lot of nature around the house. Insects may enter when windows or doors are opened or closed. (Especially at night, insects gather in the light of the inn) We are very sorry, but please refrain from staying if you don't like insects.

新尾道駅より徒歩６分！　SHIN-ONOMICHI KUROCHAN'S HOUSE

This is the only accommodation near Shin-Onomichi Station. The accommodation is a traditional Japanese house, and you will stay in the main house. Limited to one group per day, it can accommodate up to 4 guests. Only one dog can stay with you (but it must be kept in a cage in the tatami room). Because it is close to the Shinkansen, there is noise and vibration every time it passes. It may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to sound. (It is quiet because it does not operate from 11:40 pm to 6:20 am) If you are staying with 2 people, you can have separate bedrooms. Or you can combine two single beds to make a double bed. Haus2354 is within 5 minutes walking distance from Ieura Port, the main gateway of the island. It is also very close to Teshima Yokoo House and is in the area where you can find small shops and eating places. Haus2354 is a Japanese style house with Japanese style floor bedding, and we rent out a whole house during your stay. There are direct boats from Teshima to Shodoshima, Naoshima and Inujima. This place could be your base for island hopping considering its good access to the port.
