We offer one of a selection of clean and convenient rooms for up to two guests in each. Please note that the actual room number and access to the room will be shared with our guests on the morning of check-in before 10 am and is based on availability. We regret that we are unable to accommodate room preferences based on the listing photos, or layout configuration type and we will assign a room based on the availability only (similar to a regular hotel). Please note that we cannot accommodate requests for room layout preferences. We would like to kindly thank our guests for their understanding in this regard. We are located 5 minutes on foot from Kyoto's Gojo station on the Subway Karasuma Line and offers direct access to Kyoto station within 10 minutes from the apartment. Our 20～20.5 m2 non-smoking room has been furnished with two single beds put together to form one large king size bed at 190 cm x 210 cm (two beds put together) to sleep up to two guests in total. Please note that unfortunately we are unable to add extra beds or adjust the sleeping arrangements. We have also made available free Wi-Fi in all rooms. Please note that we do not provide pocket Wi-fi and guests are kindly asked to rent this themselves at Kansai airport or at Kyoto station's Tourist Information Centre. In addition to the above amenities, our property also features air-conditioning units that can be used to heat or cool each room to our guests' preference. Our HD TV has a HDMI port in the rear so our guests are welcome to use their streaming devices. Please note that Japanese terrestrial TV is not available. Guests are welcome to log in to Netflix etc but please do so with your own credentials. We also have a bathroom with a bath and shower with shampoo, conditioner and body soap provided, along with one toothbrush, and one face towel and bath towel set per guest. We also have a separated western-style toilet that comes equipped with a washlet system. Each room has its own microwave. Please note that there is only one coin-operated laundry machine in the building, and there are no cooking facilities or laundry machine in each individual room. The coin-operated laundry machine is located in a shared area within the building. The laundry machine cost is to be covered by each guest. Our building is equipped with an elevator to assist with heavy luggage of those with mobility requirements. A full, photo-guide and map to the building will be sent upon the completion of your reservation. Please note that there is a smoking room located inside the entrance to the building and that there may be some residual smelling smoke in certain areas of the property. Please take this into consideration if you are pregnant, or have a sensitivity to smoke. Please also kindly note that we are unable to guarantee certain rooms or 100% honour requests to be placed on certain floors. We are unable to move rooms after your check in has been completed due to capacity. By making a reservation with us, you acknowledge these conditions.

Room D2 is the only room in the building with a Japanese-style room from the Showa era. In March 2026, the bathroom and soundproof aluminium doors and windows were completely renovated. It is the best choice for experiencing the real life of Japanese people in the past. The area is 22 square metres, plus a balcony of about 25 square metres. Although it is equipped with two standard 140 cm × 200 cm double beds, it is still recommended for a maximum of two adults + 1 child, otherwise it will feel a bit crowded. You can walk to Nishiki Market, Kamogawa and Gion!Just a 5-second walk from the building is a hidden gem recommended by the Michelin Guide, the Old Town House Restaurant in Kyoto. You can enjoy Kyoto's traditional cuisine right outside your accommodation, and the prices are very reasonable. It's a rare local experience. In addition, if you turn right outside the building, in less than a minute, you will find a street with restaurants serving food from old townhouses [Kagariya Koji Kaikan]. You can also taste famous local specialities there. There is a 7-Eleven downstairs, about a 3-minute walk away, as well as [Gekiyasu Supermarket], which offers the best value for money in all of Kyoto. It has a wide range of fresh produce, seafood, fruit and bread, and the prices are more affordable than nearby supermarkets. With a private balcony and a large kitchen that retains the Showa style, you can experience the irreplaceable real life of Kyoto. There is a washing machine and basic cooking equipment, and the lift is convenient for large luggage and prams. You can book multiple rooms if you are travelling with friends or family. The advantage of our building is that there are four different rooms on each floor, and they are very close to each other. It is very convenient if a group of friends or family is coming together. If you need to stay on the same floor, we recommend booking early!I can communicate in Chinese, English and Japanese! We hope our guests can have a good rest and good sleep.We prepare the mattress is Magniflex from Italy, duvet is Kyoto Nishikawa. We use the things, which could get to directly your skin, are all cottons. We can provide tri-folded mattress of Magniflex in your room. We think for 4 people the room is comfortable enough. We have two beds in your room. As the bathroom is fitted one, the bathtub and toilet are a little bit small, but you have your own bath and toilet in your room. We can also prepare fridge, washing machine and air conditioning. ***Please, read before your booking*** As we operate this guest house with a family, it is a small guest house. We cannot provide soundproofs, cleaning during your stay, changing sheets and towels like in a big hotel. Instead of those services, we try to our best to provide cheaper price, comfortable and clean bedding, beautiful room decorations, washing machines, respectful reply for guests etc. Before your booking, please make sure our house rules.
