Chalet holiday rentals in Norden

Good communication and friendly staff, they sent me a video on how to find the home. Check in was easy. Place was clean and as expected. Has all the basics to cook and serve a meal for four. Comfy double bed with good duvet. 20 minutes cycle from nearest supermarket, nice quiet and safe place. Heating is gas stove in the lounge rather than a central heating system for whole property.

A lovely retreat surrounded by farm animals. Perfect to start/finish the first couple of legs from the Pieterpad.

We were very warmly welcomed by Stefan. The apartment is a detached small house in a street in the courtyard of larger blocks of houses. Authentic, quiet and quiet in the middle of the city. In the Karolinenviertel district with many eateries and alternative shops. Stefan gave us good tips. A perfect starting point to discover the many faces of Hamburg and to come back to at the end of day. Great B&B.

We had a wonderful time at this cottage around Christmas. The cottage is located on a dead-end road and you can walk into the woods where you can walk endlessly. A well fenced garden ideal for dog, bunk bed and high chair for our kids and everything we needed. Absolutely recommended. The only "lesser point" is that we did not find the arrangement of the furniture so cozy/logical, but it is also a rather difficult layout to set it up properly. Marja was a very friendly host with clear communication in advance. In other words, recommended!

The place was super nice. Everything worked out easily and quickly with the check in. The equipment was good. Everything you need. Everything clean. Berber responds super quickly and super friendly. We were even allowed to bring our dog. The owner of the square is very sweet and helps in all situations. The place is just so incredibly cute and mega dog friendly. We will definitely be back.

We would love to be back in summer...

First, I would like to list the many positive things. Anneke and Frans are extremely friendly, helpful and respond very quickly. So communication was great. They even put a small guest gift for us. The house also includes two bikes we could use. We smaller tours have been sufficient for this. The living room in the house is very spacious, the armchairs are very comfortable, the kitchen is super equipped. Also the bedroom offers enough storage space and the bed is comfortable. Outside is a large patio table and chairs. It's a great place to eat. There is also a small grill. The environment is very quiet and close to nature. You definitely have your peace. The nearest supermarkets are within easy reach by bike or by car. There is a small swimming lake and an outdoor swimming pool, in Noordwolde Noord also some snacks and shops. There is also a small forest nearby where you can walk or jog with your dog. Now two small negative points. If it is very warm outside (>28 degrees) unfortunately it gets very warm in the house and it only cools down very slowly at night. Now you're out in the best weather anyway. The bathroom is very small and a bit outdated. We would recommend a modernization here. Especially the sink was super small. On the whole, a very nice place to stay in the middle of nature. We had a great stay.

We stayed 3 nights in the beautiful chalet, it was clean and cozy . There were plenty of play opportunities in the house for our little daughter. The area is beautiful and clean , all very friendly . The beach is within walking distance. Swimming pool playgrounds & restaurants have been great. You could explore the area nicely with the bicycles provided. We will be happy to come back & more often.

We enjoyed the space and the surrounding area. Due to a sudden health issue on the way out, we were more in the hospital than in the chalet. We couldn't reach the place until the night, but organizationally this was super solved. Key was stored for us in a box with code. Communication between the landlord and us went smoothly. The chalet is very comfortably furnished. We were 4 adults and one dog. Space was enough. The outdoor area invites you to stay. The weather was good with us and we would definitely book again. Super nice cottage! Always had nice contact with clear instructions. There was also the game "Kubb" which we played cozily outside. From this cottage and place you will immediately be relaxed, highly recommended!

Josiane's vacation home was a beautiful, modern new stay at a lovely place on the campsite by the beach. We stayed here as a family of 3 one night and combined it with a visit to family and a trip to the Sprookjeshof. What was extremely nice was the quick and pleasant communication in advance. We were also really thought along with us and even an extra heater was arranged due to our child. The best part was a nice walk with our child on the beach that is really next to the cottage.

We booked this specific place for its proximity to the ferry to Schiermonnikoog in order to take a day of hiking/sightseeing. Everything was at its best and our plans went according to our expectations. In addition, Korien has always been very responsive and clear in his instructions. However, we encountered some problems with the life of "camping" and its amenities and the communication between our host and the reception of the campsite. Despite everything, the placement, tranquility and atmosphere won us over and allowed us to have a pleasant stay. Thanks again to Korien!

What a great house this is. Nicely decorated, good kitchen and bathroom and a nice bed. Everything you could want is there. Made up beds, piles of towels and kitchen linens, very clean. It makes you feel very welcome as a guest.

We had a lovely week with our 3rd children during the autumn holidays. In bad weather, a beautiful indoor playground awaits the children. In nice weather there are several playgrounds and a petting zoo :). In great weather, the lake and beach are waiting for you. ;) Aletta was always available for us and gave us good tips.

We had a really nice time at the chalet! The place was exactly as described – clean, cozy and equipped with everything you might need. The forest area nearby was a real highlight for us – perfect for walking, unwinding and enjoying nature. The location was quiet, but still well connected. Hennie and Johannes were very warm and helpful, we felt welcome right from the beginning. Thank you both – we will be happy to come back!

My family and I stayed with Leonhard after a relocation for work, our arrival day changed for very well when Leonhard welcomed us. Owners are very kind and communicative. Whatever I needed they were always ready to help. Even due late booking they were able to make appartment ready within few hours. We enjoyed staying there and have no problem to come back again whenever we are around.

What a great place to spend your holidays! A neat and very complete accommodation in a very nice place on the campground. Wonderfully quiet. You won't notice the hustle and bustle of the campsite while the kids can use the facilities such as the swimming pool and the nice playgrounds. The veranda is really lovely! Patrick was extremely helpful and very quick in responding to questions!

We stayed one night. The place is in a very beautiful and peaceful camping zone. Right in the lake. There is an easy entrance in the water, clean sand, so you can easily go for a swim as well. Gas BBQ came very handy . Not much hustle . All ready and easy to use . It was a bit chilly when we stayed, but you have a heater inside and enough blankets if you need. The sitting area outside facing the lake is very comfortable and spacious. The bed was a bit uncomfy, but if you stay one two nights it’s not a bother. Place is clean and functional. Host is very friendly and and responsive . It’s is definitely recommended for a short getaway to unwind and enjoy the nature . We loved it

We had a great stay at Nikos' beautiful chalet. Very peaceful and quiet surroundings, and a really nice beach 1 minute away from the house. Only minor gripe was the kitchen not having basics like oil, salt and pepper, so we needed to drive back to the supermarket to get that before we could start cooking dinner. Other than that, no complaints!
