The popular Hauklandstranda is about 15 minutes from the rorbua. Leknes town, airport and hurtigruten ferry a short distance from the cabin. If you want to try your luck in the rich fishing waters of Vestfjorden, boat rental is possible. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofot fishing is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and most abundant fishing village.

The view

Recharge your batteries at this unique and quiet accommodation. The cabin is privately located with a lovely view of Eidsfjorden. Here you can enjoy the silence, see sea eagles up close and fish jumping right below the mountain. If you are lucky you can see porpoises (whales) and sperm whales, saithe and mackerel shoals. Here are 4 beds, complete with duvets, pillows and bed linen. The kitchenette has a gas stove and fridge and everything you need for cooking and serving. Wood-fired heating. Firewood is included. The cabin is equipped with electricity and wifi. Water is collected from the stream, in winter the host puts in cans with water. Outdoor toilet located nearby.

The Domes are placed above a garden where raspberries are grown. The Domes are in nature with a fantastic view of the mountains and the fjord. You can see the sky from your bed. During the winter you might even see stars, the moon – or the northern lights? Homemade breakfast with fresh bread and local products is served in a refurbished barn. The Domes are without electricity, but wood for heating is provided. WC, shower, electricity and WiFi are provided in the barn - 100 m walk.
