Very pleasant stay in Cesantes: Victor was attentive to us from the first moment. He took us to visit the city with the most emblematic sites, gave us recommendations on places, restaurants... And above all, the welcome detail he had: eggs from his chickens, chocolates, muffins, beer and Coca-Cola, jam... In short; an experience to repeat ❤️

Great place with beautiful views

The long stay was excellent. The hosts were very kind and helpful at all times. The apartment, cozy and well equipped, made us feel at home all the time. Having a supermarket right on the ground floor of the building, open every day from 8 to 21, was very practical. Definitely a highly recommended experience.

Excellent apartment and location. Wish I could have stayed longer! Walking distance to everything with grocery store and things nearby. Quiet with no noise from neighbors or street. Host management company very responsive and helpful when there were issues.

We had a fantastic experience staying at this apartment in Porto—so much so that we chose it twice during our trip to Portugal! From the moment we arrived, the host gave us a warm welcome, personally meeting us at the door both times. He provided clear instructions and shared plenty of helpful local recommendations, making it easy to explore the city like a local. The apartment itself was spotless, tidy, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. The attention to detail and hospitality truly made a difference. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in Porto! Highly recommended, and we’d gladly return in the future.

Very quiet apartment, total silence, impeccable cleaning the very comfortable bed which makes it easy and very much the rest. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the baths that is done quietly by the river, communication was easy and quick, I highly recommend staying in this dwelling.

The apartment is spacious and located in a prime area, just across from the beach. Plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and pastry shops within walking distance. The host was very responsive and quick to address any questions. Only two sets of bath towels were provided for two guests staying eight nights. An additional set of towels would have been helpful.

We loved staying at Mathias’s beautiful apartment. The view over the river was stunning and it was away from the busy tourist areas, but also very handy to wherever we wanted to go. The guidebooks, maps, and local recommendations were highly appreciated. A highlight was our trip to Afurada, where we ended up spending the better part of a day. The apartment is beautifully appointed and comfortable with everything we needed.

A beautiful apartment with absolutely everything you could need for a family holiday! Natacha’s place is spotlessly clean, lots of space and so many little extras it really felt like a home from home. The views of the sea and the sunset from the balcony were amazing! The pool was huge and clean and the surrounding area peaceful but close enough to Porto and Gaia by bike or a quick Uber ride. There is a boardwalk and cycle path just across the road that goes all the way down the beach to Porto. There is a supermarket nearby and some lovely beach bars and restaurants along the front. Natacha was a perfect host - friendly and very responsive and helpful with lots of ideas and suggestions for our stay. Our teenage girls loved the surf lessons that Natacha suggested and we had lots to do and lots of sights to see. Thank you Natacha for the perfect stay. We recommend 100% and would definitely stay again!

All great except for a neighbor who put music early in the morning quite loud, but nothing related to you.

The place was great and a real gem in Porto. Close to the beach and into city as well. Claudia was very helpful throughout the time we were there with recommendations for things to eat and do around the area. Had a lovely time and will definitely look to stay here again 😊

Loved it. Playing tennis from sunset to 5am (floodlights). Bbq on the terrace. Rooms were clean. Everything about this place was perfect. We even got some tasty baked goods every morning delivered to our door Easy to get ubers and uber eats. All the boys had a great time and want to go again. Its a great villa to just chill in, you dont get bored. Loved every minute.

Where do I even start?! Staying at Maria's Casa do Rio felt like a magical home away from home. Maria and her sweet dogs gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and gave us a beautiful tour of the property with an overview of its history that you should not miss. She was very accommodating to our check-in time and sensitive to our plans during our stay, which were not many. Since we didn't have much planned for our spur-of-the-moment visit, we were delighted when Maria gave us many suggestions of activities on our own as well as ones with her such as a tour around the area, canoeing, hiking, yoga class, massage, cooking together and so much more. The charm and kind embrace by Maria was otherworldly and an experience in itself that we won't ever forget. If you have any reservations on booking your stay here, you shouldn't because you will not regret a single second at Casa do Rio. Every moment during our stay here is one we will treasure, and we'll be back to visit Maria and her Casa.

I had an amazing stay at this airbnb! The house was incredibly cozy, spotless, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to relax. The location couldn’t have been better—it was close to everything, making it super convenient to explore the area. On top of that, the host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Fantastic location and very attentive hosts! We were greeted with lots of pampering! House very comfortable and decorated well. Private parking. Exterior of the house with several "corners" for you to enjoy. Piscina 5*. Easy and quick access to Vila , on foot, where we can find supermarket, pastry shop, butcher, tourism office, restaurants, baths... Thanks to Susana and Tomás for having welcomed us so well!

Fantastic host, very friendly, fast responses, beautiful house, hot tub worked, mattresses and couches comfortable, very clean, washer and dryer worked appropriately, kitchen, bathrooms, fireplace and bar fully stocked. Not one complaint. Will stay here again in a heartbeat! Deserves a 10 rating.

It was superbly organized. Joana has always informed us and helped us well. Also at the time of the wildfires she made sure we were well informed. Also nice that the pool was cleaned extra when it had gotten dirty from the ashes coming from the wildfires. The house is beautiful, clean and all amenities are there. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

Such a wonderful place and wonderful hosts! It’s remote, too far normally to walk to town, but our hosts did a great job of supplying us with breakfast food and wine, so we were never without the important things. Beautiful place, beautiful views, lovely pool (too cold to use when we went), sauna and workout room. Wineries all around the area. Many thanks to our very responsive and enjoyable host, Tania
