Peaceful Pastures Getaway

AprilynnRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We planned to stay here two nights because we needed a place to work out of (my partner and I are therapists) due to a power outage. It was a mid point between a place we were visiting and Pgh. The space exceeded our expectations. It was rainy when we were there, but if you stayed during nice weather I bet the fire pit and pizza oven would be so much fun, Great view! Very peaceful. Highly recommend Barb and her husband were also flexible with us related to changing our plans (because our power was restored), Would definitely return!

Sycamore Trails

CarlRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Very nicely kept home right on Pine Creek. Was perfect for our group of 8 biking/hiking friends. It would perhaps be tight at stated max of 14, but if kids are involved and beds are shared, it would be fine. The beds are very comfortable, plenty of gathering space indoors and out if the weather is good. A beautiful, peaceful spot!

Secluded, Modern Mountain Home and Pet Friendly!

RichardRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A wonderful little home in the middle of gorgeous wilderness. Quiet, peaceful. We had some snow that made it postcard perfect. The wood stove was a highlight during our stay. The surrounding region is stunning... ridgelines, valleys, rivers, old iron bridges, a few covered bridges, eagles, deer, crow murders, just breathtaking. We took advantage of all of it. An automobile with reasonable ground clearance is highly recommended, as the unimproved roads leading to the home are rugged and rocky in spots. Gracious hosts. Clean, comfortable home. We give our highest recommendation for a stay here.

NANNY'S NOOK a place full of peacefulness

KentRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Another great stay at Nanny's Nook. We have made this an annual event. It is just the perfect place for our outdoor adventures in the Potter County area. The place has everything we need. Wi-Fi works great. Enjoyed sitting out on the covered porch. Amber has been a great host and we look forward to making a return trip.

Spacious + Rustic Cabin Near Penns Creek

PaulRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Great cabin nestled in the mountainous woods at the top of a hill. Nice winter views of the mountains. Lots of beds in the upstairs loft, comfortable bedding, and a well stocked kitchen! We really enjoyed the place. There is not heat/air conditioning in the 2 downstairs bedrooms, so we had to sleep with bedroom doors open to capture heat from the living area, but it was 7 degrees Fahrenheit when we were there, so that might only be a problem during extreme temperatures. Don't let that scare you away though, everything else about the place was terrifiic!

Peaceful getaway, dark skies, and great views!

StephanieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our family of 6 (all adults) spent Easter weekend here (5 nights). It was cold our first day (30s), but then warmed up to 60-70s for rest of the week. We hiked Grand Canyon of PA one day, drove 2 hours to Letchworth State Park in Castile, NY to hike the Gorge Trail another day, Elk viewing another day - did not see any Elk, and relaxed the rest of the days. The place was perfect! Clean, comfortable beds, plenty of hooks and spaces for coats, clothes, towels, etc. Kitchen was well appointed. We ate in most nights. Fire Pit was spectacular. Great starry skies at night. The blackstone grill worked great as we cooked outside and ate outside a few times. The coffeemaker was top notch - we are all big coffee drinkers. Would stay here again!
