The location is the stunning South Arm Peninsula offering many coastal trails, beaches, and a key site for viewing the Aurora Australis. Easy access to Hobart (40mins) and the Airport (30ms).

Watch the fairy wrens dance outside, take in the huge skies and towering eucalyptus trees, pat a goat, and if you're lucky, see the wedge-tailed eagles.

Here at Great Bay Hideaway relax in this peaceful setting whilst planning your Bruny Island adventures. Only a stones throw from Get Shucked Oysters and the Bruny Island Cheese Company and a brisk walk to the beautiful Great Bay beach. Enjoy a bath or laze by the fire after a BBQ on the deck overlooking the coastline with Mt Wellington in the background. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.
