The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!

Welcome to Charleston!! My 1 bedroom suite just minutes from the airport, boeing, outlets, and boat landing. you’re just 15-20 mins from downtown and 45 minutes from amazing beaches. This cozy suite is located downstairs from our home. You'll have the private entrance to the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and patio. living room is equipped with roku tv, sofa and a daybed. My home is located right across the street from the Ashley river.

Spacious, Comfortable, Quiet, has parking and is about a 13 minute drive to the Historic/business district or catch the free shuttle bus 3 blocks away. please note that the kitchenette area does not include a stove. Also note the stairs to the second floor location in case mobility is an issue.

The studio is one room and features a queen bed, dining area with an apartment size refrigerator, toaster oven and microwave. There is a bathroom with a small stand up shower. There is a private entrance, covered porch and fenced yard area along with off-street parking.
