Holiday rentals with lake access in North Elba

We had a family vacation and enjoyed our stay at the house. The house is spacious and clean. The driveway is steep. We enjoyed the screened porches overlooking the lake.....beautiful sunsets. There is a small private and shallow water area between the dock and the boathouse. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed playing in the area.

On our last day we saw a spectacular sunset which was indicative of our whole stay. The star was of course the wonderful setting on the lake. It was enhanced by how tastefully the house was renovated, decorated and fully supplied with everything we needed. It truely exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable experience in the beautiful state of Vermont.

This is my favorite Airbnb to date by a long shot. The property is in a beautiful and perfect location- giving you walking distance proximity to local shops and restaurants. There are loads of trails and mountains a short drive away. We booked with Todd & Amy for a group hiking trip knowing it was shoulder season. We were completely rained out and ended up spending much more time inside than we hoped for. But let me tell you- their space was perfect for our group. Their dining room table was ideal for family dinners and there were so many games to choose from! The air hockey and ping pong tables were big hits. The house is massive and allowed everyone sleep comfortably and there was never a line for the shower since there are four of them. The house has so many thoughtful touches that really reflect the beauty of the Adirondacks while staying modern with tasteful renovations. I would recommend this property to anyone!

It is my pleasure to recommend Brad's house in Lake Placid / Saranac. I travel there every year with a group of friends for hiking and skiing, and this was the perfect spot for us to stay. The house was easy to find and more than large enough to fit us all. Brad's instructions were very clear and he was responsive to all messages I sent over the course of the stay.

This review is based on my brother & I bringing up a boat to fish Lake Champlain. You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful location right on the water and being in short proximity to the Ticonderoga boat ramp. There is also boat ramps to the North. I wouldn’t recommend any boats larger than 22’ because you do have to finagle your way over some RR tracks which can be tricky. For anyone that just wants a leisurely vacation this house is brand new on the inside with 2 comfortable bed’s & bedrooms. I have stayed at a multitude of VRBO’s in past couple years and they all had tiny, cramped showers. NOT this place! Finally a place with a gorgeous , large shower! There is a big deck facing the lake with lots of nature & critters to be seen. Kelly does have kayaks & canoes for anyone w/o a boat which works well in the nice little cove area where she is located. Just tons of stuff to do in this area. I have been coming up here for 25 years and now no more motels ! Awesome

Beautiful view of the lake from the windows in the Airbnb! This lake house was fully stocked with toys, books, and supplies for children, which allowed us to pack a little lighter. We would definitely stay here again after visiting this place! The host was also very responsive throughout the week when we had questions regarding the Airbnb! Overall it was a fantastic place to stay!

This home was awesome! Sparkling clean, beautiful rooms, bathrooms were very nice, hotel quality towels , even soaps & hair products provided. Very nicely stocked kitchen. Wonderful homey and comfy decor . Lake views spectacular! We were a group of 10, mom, gram, aunts and cousins from New Jersey spending the weekend with my grandaughter who is student at University of Vermont. It was truly a wonderful weekend for her & us together!

Great getaway for my fsamily! Lots of space, big table in the dining room makes it easy to be all together, and beautiful surrounding! The ability to take a wuick drive to Burlington and Stowe then head back to our reatreat was a plus. I will hopefully be staying here again very soon!!

Beautiful location with spectacular views of Lake Champlain. The Best Nest offers peace and quiet in a private setting. Everything was just as described in the Airbnb posting.

Cannot recommend Audrey or her space highly enough. It was beautiful, private, spacious, with so many amenities. She was so gracious to stock the fridge with a few items since we were getting in late. It was overall a wonderful and comfortable stay in a beautiful location.

We had a lovely stay. The place was exactly as described, walkable to everything you could want in town. The place was clean, organized, and everything was clearly laid out and labeled. The fireplace was great for warmth and helped create a cozy environment. The kitchen was helpful, and the place had thoughtful touches that made it feel cared for like the extra blankets, heated floors, and bathroom toiletries. One thing of note, we stayed in the winter and a combination of the snow on one side and a large utility truck on the other made it feel quite tight pulling into the designated space on the driveway. I imagine at any other time guests would not experience this, and it would by no means deter me from staying again when up in Vermont!

Meachele is a wonderful hostess and her place is cozy comfortable clean and exactly right for our family. We come up to Lake Placid for a hockey tournament and can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The place and her hospitality are more than you can ask for and we are so grateful that she opens her Airbnb to us.

We loved staying at Porcupine cabin and look forward to renting again in the future. The host was so nice and communicative during our stay - she even left snowshoes for us to use! We will be inquiring about the attached house to stay with our whole family, but the little cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway from the busyness of life. The cabin had everything we needed and was exactly as described. It was so cozy and we even had snow while we were there, which was exciting for us since the area we come from didn’t really have snow this year. This was our first time renting an Airbnb and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. ☺️

It's a lovely little place for a couple like us to stay, right on the perimeter (literally) of proper downtown BVT. Everything is where you think it is, and they provided great coffee options, toiletries - the works! After a bleary-eyed arrival, slipping into a cozy, well laid out space that's full of color felt amazing. Great communication, and super worth it!

We had a great time as Jeremy’s place with our two young children. The apartment and antique furniture were beautifully restored/maintained and it’s was super clean! Jeremy was friendly and responsive. I recommend this stay!

This cabin at Rainbow Lake was the perfect place for the quiet retreat my adult son and I needed. Cozy living room with new wood floors; small but perfectly functional and well-stocked kitchen; comfortable beds and pillows; updated bathroom and easy-to-use shower; hot water was very responsive; washing machine/dryer are much more modern than what I have at home (the manual was easy to find!) Our favorite spots were the dining table by the picture window overlooking the lake, and the Adirondack chairs on the dock at lakeside. The cabin is in a secluded cove, and the water was as smooth as glass most of the time. We even saw a loon several times, even though it was late October! There was just a little road noise during "going to/from work" times (can't call it "rush hour"); the rest of the time, just wonderful silence and the whisperings of the pine trees. We didn't use the kayaks, fire pit, or barbecue. Ten-minute drive into Saranac Lake for groceries, etc. We'd love to come back!

We loved this home. The lakefront location was beautiful and convenient. It is 20 minutes away from both downtown Burlington and a lakeside state park we visited for a hike. The home was a great fit for our family. The proximity of the home to the park was terrific for our dogs. Would definitely book again.

Really enjoyed my time at the Valcour Cottages. Had beautiful sun rises over Lake Champlain and great stars at night. Really peaceful!

Our stay was pure bliss. Caleb and Eleri are amazing and the cottage is simply perfect. The location is beautiful and hard to beat, the space is carefully appointed and very comfortable, with generous amenities. Congrats to the hosts for building such an amazing place. We can't wait to see them develop their different endeavours further.

Kat’s cabin is charming and just what we needed for a relaxing weekend away.. we had everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom. We found the cottage, very clean and comfortable. We were a little disappointed that we couldn’t use the kayaks as we were very excited to do so. We did find some quaint shops and great restaurants in the area and would definitely enjoy a stay here again.!
