In 10 steps you are on the sandy beach for swimming, sunbathing and (kite)surfing. Walk along the bird bread area, bike in the area, golf in Westwoud or explore VOC port towns of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Bus stop and parking in front of the door. 30 min. from Amsterdam. Cozy restaurant 100m 100m away. Breakfast will be arranged on 1st day!

Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Vrije wandeling en fietspaden op aangrenzend gelegen natuurgebied van Staatsbosbeheer. Of u kunt genieten van de ondergaande zon aan het water, de Ringvaart. 2 fietsen staan klaar voor onze gasten.

For a while, enjoy nature on the outskirts of the IJsselmeer, surrounded by beautiful nature reserves. In the 2700m2 backyard of our farmhouse, there are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy . Layout: Living room, kitchen equipped with combi oven, induction hob, refrigerator and Nespresso machine, bedroom with double box spring, bathroom with underfloor heating and rain shower, wood stove and sleeping loft.

"Papenveer", a beautifully situated holiday home

In the beautiful West Frisia in Oostwoud, we rent out a 4-person holiday home called "Papenveer". This vacation home is in a small vacation park. It is located on through water with beautiful views and privacy. Papenveer is a cozy, spacious cottage with a modern kitchen and fully equipped bathroom and 2 bedrooms. COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.

10 minutes Amsterdam Central Station 'De Hut'

Watergang is a small village 10 minutes from the center of Amsterdam. Watergang is easily accessible by public transport. You can enjoy cycling and canoeing here. We have a canoe and bicycles that you can use. In addition, De Hut has a garden with a pond and lots of privacy. There is also a barbeque that you can use. And of course the beautiful Amsterdam nearby.
